I'm sure hoping so!!! There were room discounts for that timeframe this April, and Easter was later this year than it is next, so I'm hoping that that week being even a little bit further from Easter might help. The room discount we were able to apply came out in late November (it was a GP code not a PIN). I don't remember all the details but we got 30% off BC (we later switched resorts but that's another story).

We want to take the kids out of school, and go this week. It's well enough past Easter that I am hoping that the crowd levels will be lower, and my husband is an accountant so it's past tax season.

Dh is thinking we should stay offsite, but I know if we can get a good deal, I could talk him into staying onsite again. We would have to stay at POR as we are a family of five and trying to watch our budget. Do you think we'll be looking at the 25% room only rate?

We are taking our son out of school too. We are going 4/20-27. I work at an accounting firm too!

This is our first trip and it would just be great to get a discount of any kind! Wonder what it might be?

Count me in as well. I usually come to Disney every year but bagged this summer as I had a 4 month old at the time. Well we are visiting Tampa for a few days at the end of April and thought I would suprised my 6yr old with a few days in Disney so hoping a % off room rate comes out. I typically get them but haven't gotten one in a while so used the suggesting of saving a vacation on WDW.com in the hopes I will get an email near my dates.

Have you guys seen the April discounts with Magival Vacations Travel? I saw a thread on the resorts board about some March and April rates they have ....just something to consider. If you google them they are the first agency to,come up or you can get the link from the Tikimans site.

What is the exclusive rate? Was this on the resorts board?

Yes, they do packages that sometimes beat Disney's rates. Just search by their name on the boards and you will find the thread. It's over on the resorts board. Or you can google the agency name and get the info.

This is my first time posting but wanted to join in on the hoping for a discount in April group! I called today to make a payment on my reservation (thank you disney reward dollars) and asked if they had any discounts out for my time frame. She said no the lastest discounts released were through March and that ones that include my dates would be out soon but they don't know the release dates. As always I know it is just CM rumor but I am so so hoping that we will get lucky! We are going as part of a convention April 11-17th!

Does anyone know if you can use a Pin code that was sent to someone else? A friend of mine received one in the mail and they are not going to Disney next year, so she offered it to me to use it. It's for the 35% off the room and we are going April 23-29. Would I be able to use it?

*EDIT* Nevermind, I just read the sticky thread and found out that I can't. Oh well, here's hoping I get one too, lol! I've been to Disney World 7 times and Disneyland once, plus I order the vacation planning DVD every year and I visit the website multiple times a day!!! I should have received one by now don't ya think! LOL

I got a pin code for April in the mail, but the date it starts is the last night of our stay. I wonder if there's any chance they'd extend it six nights earlier since our last night is their start date? Wishful thinking, huh?

Can you provide the dates on the offer? Also, are Little Mermaid AofA rooms excluded.

Yep, those rooms are excluded. The dates on my code are:
1/2-3/4, 4/21-5/22, 8/11-9/28.

4/21 is out last night. I don't know if it's even worth calling to apply the code just for one night.

per Mousesavers, we're getting very close to the time last year when April general public discounts were offered. Sorry to have nothing to add. Just commiserating. Hoping to see something for April 12-19. I've been calling WDW Reservations about weekly asking about PINs. To no avail. So, we wait . . .
