I didn't see one already started, but how about we start a April 2013 pin code watch. We're planning for April 6-14,2013.

We can't wait to be able to make our ADR's in October.

Who else is going in April 2013 and hoping for pin code or free dining??

We have a room only booked with AAA discount and are going to purchase tickets separately unless some better room discount or package discount comes out.

answer to your question is...a code that either is public or private(sent randomly by Disney) that gives you a perk.. discount or free dining or just few freebie addons like water parks etc etc.....all discounts etc have a code attached to them. look at your advertisements for specials etc. usually a code somewhere to give to a CM when making or updating reservations....

only ones you can hunt for are general public., which there are none at the moment for 2013...

pins are something that most of us wish we would get for our dates picked. they are sent randomly through reg or email as long as you are registered on the disney site. explore, save vacations etc on the WDW site to MAYBE increase your odds if you havent been in awhile.

dont know how many people get pins if they already have a vacation booked. I doubt we will get a pin for our reserved vacation but hope for GP(general public.. room discount) or maybe free dining offered to general public. Not all resorts/rooms are eligible for discounts..

I think I'll join this thread! We currently have a trip planned for Nov, but are 98% sure we are going to cancel and go in the spring instead. Since Easter is the end of March this year, I'd like to try to go mid-April. I'm assuming crowds will be lower and the weather will be awesome. We went in early May 2011 and loved it. We walked onto a lot of rides, and the weather was perfect. Fingers and toes crossed for a good discount released in early fall so we can book! We will probably stay at POFQ or CSR, so we will be traveling with my mom so we will get 2 rooms. We were originally going to stay in a family suite, but I'm thinking it's too much togetherness lol. I love the idea of 2 rooms at a mod because 1 (or both lol) of my boys can bunk with my mom in her room.
ETA: I'm hoping that by canceling our Nov trip we will get a good PIN to re-book. Here's hoping!

I'm in! We're looking for April 14-21 (the 13th is is the supposed end of peak season).

We're planning on POR right now, hoping for at least 20% off room only, or free dining (which I believe is unheard of for April).

If not, we'll likely go with the Dolphin and my SPG discount. If the price works out the same, Dolphin will be the pick.

I am planning to go towards the end of April 2013 and in hopes of receiving a pin code, free dining would be great! 7 of us and 2 rooms needed! Hoping to stay at Port Orleans Riverside.

I don't think FD is unheard of. I looked up past discounts, and it looks like it was offered here and there in the past. You never know!

4/7-4/13 at the AoA for us! Any discount would be great. I looked at the historical chart for discounts and it looks like free play & stay for kids was offered twice during my time frame--that'd be awesome!
