Hello! This is the first time I have logged on the Dis in a loooooong time. I will probably never catch up with the report. I know we have kept in touch with FB but I feel like I have missed so much. I have been kind of a grump since my Dad passed away in May. I am trying to get back to normal. Hope everyone is doing well. I saw on FB that you have a spring break trip. What are the dates? We will be there 3/22-3/31. We are staying at BLT and Beach Club. I am hopefully booking our flights this weekend. Have a great Saturday everyone!

I love riding the monorail into the Contemporary! We're still trying to get into Chef Mickey's at some point during this trip...we've gone there on every trip since our first one in 1994 so I think we'd all have withdrawals.

I want to jump into your pictures. We're at the point where right now I feel like it's soooo close but also like it'll never get here (although I have been playing "this time next week" in my head all morning.) It will be a long week at work, but knowing what happens at the end of the week will help!

Your pictures of the Poly are getting me so excited for my trip! We're eating at 'Ohana one night (our first time) and I can't wait. DH thinks that the Poly looks so cool. It'll be fun to see it in person and maybe on a future trip we'll be able to stay there.

Exactly one week from now we should be on the Magical Express on our way to All Star Sports!

We will see you in March. Our dates are the 20th - 27th. We will be at Beach Club until early Sunday morning. After that, we'll be at Pop. Friday, your arrival day, is our Magic Kingdom day. Maybe we can do another group ride on something. Do/Can both your boys ride Splash Mountain? It's supposed to be newly reopened that week. Maybe we can do that.

Like Pat, you have our thoughts and prayers as you go through your first year of firsts without your dad.

This Time Next Week is possibly the favoritest game ever for DISers! See TangledMama's post below. Maybe you guys can cross paths?

We have done Chef Mickey's several times, but it has been a while. It's a classic that I recommend for all first-timers, if they ask my opinion.

There is a certain atmosphere in that lobby - the sound of the water, the smell, and the lush greenery. I love those floors, too. I hope we get to stay here someday, too. For now, visiting makes me happy.

You are not alone. I am counting my weeks by Wednesdays right now, since I leave early on a Wednesday morning.

I don't consider myself fully back to reality until I am through playing This Time Last Week. When that ends, I know I really have to snap back to real life.

I'm still eating very lightly, as in almost nothing, but that's a good thing. Maybe I will lose an ounce of weight in all this.

Trent and whoever comes with him plan to start driving down Friday night, and they will get there Saturday, the 28th.

I ate a biscuit this morning, and I looked at your trip report and did fine with all those food pictures.

I made our reservations last weekend. The price of the rooms went down drastically on our last night. Kinda hurts to look at it when it's your last night, but it would be a joy if it was the beginning. Unfortunately, we have to get back to school in the early days of January. Lucky are those who can go during the first weeks of January.

So, is 'Ohana a go for everyone on 12/31, or are some people doing Epcot? I think our group will be doing 'Ohana and Poly beach.

I'm not sure what our group will be doing yet, I just started walking my ressie today and am not sure of everyone else's dates yet. The gang has been leaning towards Epcot for the 31st but it's early days still.

We are so far off another WDW trip that we can't play the 'in x weeks time' game so I spend my time adding tips/ideas to an ever growing 'Disney trip notes' list and pinning things to Pinterest ready for the day we get our next trip booked and the planning begins!

Yay! As the ADR date gets closer, we'll coordinate getting some OHana reservations

Today we're in the midst of some ice & sleet. Church was cancelled today so I'm planning on having a "home day" of reading, watching movies & catching up on some housework. I went to see my grandparents yesterday & came home with lots of yummy food so I'm all set!
