My Pressed Penny Collection!
I've become an obsessive pressed penny collector. I'd probably now consider myself a pressed penny expert. I have well over 700 Disney pressed pennies between DLR and WDW. I'm storing them in binders. Here is a sample of my display.

The cases are standard oval shaped 2x2s made for archival of coins. A lot of elongated coin collectors (aka pressed pennies) use the 2x2s or sell them.
I made the labels, however. |

That looks amazing! I also collect pressed pennies wherever I go and was looking for a good storage / display solution. Yours has definitely inspired me.
Thank you for that and I hope you can add many more pennies to your collection! |

Probably not what you want to do if you are collecting but a friend of mine had all her pennies from one trip and made a bracelet. It's pretty neat. Def something to think about if you have extras.

There are a more Disney pennies then you probably realize so a decent inventory and storage solution is a must if you want to display them.

sir aaron, thanks for sharing how you store yours. great idea. i don't have a huge collection but do enjoy getting a few pressed pennies on most trips, so it starts to build after time. i've bought the pressed penny books from disneyworld, but yours displays them much better.

Very Nice Presentation
Nicely done...I have always struggled with how to present my collections. Some of them remain buried where neither I or anyone else can see them...others are more out in the open. Having them out is always a conversation starter and people usually want to talk about what they collect or even get interested enough to start their own collection....I love it when that happens.
I am still trying to figure out how I can present some of my post cards or disney dollars properly...I basically have very little wall space to hang stuff on. But I probably could squeeze in a frame for Disney Dollars someplace. Cheers! |

I've always been fascinated by pressed coins. I encouraged my kids to collect the Disney ones when they were young. They were never as impressed as me so I have ended up with all the folders as they grew up. I did a couple of them earlier this month for myself and was excited about them, but couldn't think of a way to store them after I outgrew the Disney folders. Thinking I just found myself a new hobby.

Making my first trip to WDW in a few weeks. Are the penny presses 50 cents per penny?
