Falmouth immediate port area questions

How safe is the immediate port area?

Is it worth disembarking?

We can't do any port adventures because one member of our party uses a power wheelchair.

Thanks for any help.

the port are is brand new and completely fenced in. You cannot enter without a ship or employee ID. The shopping is great there too!

You should check it out!

You should step outside the gate and do a little shopping... You will find way better deals, and yes you will have a lot of people trying to sell you things, but they are just people trying to make a living... We walked deep into the city to get some authentic jerk chicken, and to check out the city...We did not feel afraid, just a little pressured to buy stuff... Inside the gate is a lot of jewelry stores... and a few places to buy crafty stuff, shirts, and shot glasses...
