October Disneymoon
Hi all! Thanks for reading! I welcome any feedback/tips etc because this is the first trip I have ever planned to WDW. I have been there a number of times as a kid with my parents, but I've never actually planned a trip myself. I am pleasantly surprised as to how much fun I am having planning this trip!
DH has never been to Disney before, so I'm crossing my fingers that he has a blast!!! However, apparently I have been talking too much about our Disney plans (according to him) so I've been trying to cut back on mentioning too much about it at home. Cast of Characters: Me(32) DH(34) (Well, Dear Fiance for now, but DH as of 7/6/12!)... We also have a beautiful DD(16mon), however, she will not be joining us on our honeymoon. She will be spending some quality time with my mother (Nana). Dates: 10/19-10/27 Accomodations: POFQ (This will be my first time staying here, but it looks beautiful, and after reading reports about the hotel, I am very pleased with my decision.) Tickets: 9 day Park Hopper passes Dining Plan: We had the regular Dining Plan, but we got upgraded as part of a wedding gift so now we have the Deluxe Dining Plan So, stay tuned and I will update you all with a day-day breakdown of parks/attractions/ADRs/Shows etc. Enjoy! |

We've only been to WDW once (last May), but we have an awesome TA who has been invaluable. I think that the planning is one of the best parts - where do you want to go, what do you want to do...it's so exciting! Will you be taking part in the Food & Wine Festival or the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party? There's so much to do and I hope you have a magnificent time! |

Plan A
Ok, so here goes my plan for our trip:
Friday 10:00am - Arrival in Orlando Airport Magical Express to POFQ Check-in (if possible go to the room to settle in, if not, off to Hollywood Studios) Go to Hollywood Studios, trade in our PhotoPass+ voucher 3:40 - ADR: Mama Melrose's FANTASMIC! dinner Explore the park for a bit 7:30 - Fantasmic! After the show we will perhaps take advantage of the EMH for that night, but we may just opt to go back to the hotel to relax and explore... Saturday Magic Kingdom - I want to at least do Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. (I would like to be there for rope drop, but I am not always the most prompt person in the mornings...) 5:10 - ADR: The Crystal Palace I'm thinking that this might be a nice night to go check out the Disney Boardwalk for a bit... I want to go to Jellyrolls. Sunday Animal Kingdom 1:15 - ADR: The Rainforest Cafe 6:15 - ADR: Paradiso 37 Wander Downtown Disney for a bit before heading back to POFQ... Monday Relax in the morning at POFQ Afternoon in Magic Kingdom - I'd like to do Liberty Square and Adventureland... We'll get done what we can in those two sections, but no big deal since we will be returning there later. 5:00 - ADR: 'Ohana Return to Magic Kingdom 8:00 - Main Street Electrical Parade 9:00 - Wishes! Enjoy EMH for a bit at Magic Kingdom... Tuesday 10:00 - Typhoon Lagoon - we have beach chairs with an umbrella reserved for us. 7:15 - ADR: Boma Return to POFQ to relax Wednesday Epcot - Futureworld 1:30 - ADR: San Angel Inn Restaurante Magic Kingdom - Frontierland 6:20 - ADR: Whispering Canyon Cafe Go to Downtown Disney Thursday 9:25 - ADR: Trails End Restaurant Epcot - World Showcase 6:20 - ADR: Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria IllumiNations! Friday Return to Hollywood Studios to do anything that we didn't get done the first day there... 12:30 - ADR: Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant 7:30 - ADR: Artist Point Saturday Check-out day... We will probably check out early and hit up anything that we missed or want to do one more time before leaving. Then we will return to POFQ and take the Magical Express back to the airport. Arrive home and give lots of big hugs and kisses to DD!! |
