So if the room block is Dec 5-15, does that mean that there will not be any discounts, free dining, etc for Dec 5-15? Also, does anyone know when the parade taping will be for 2013?

We are doing a Christmas trip in 2013. December 24 - December 29, 2013 at Wilderness Lodge and then a 4 night cruise on the Disney Dream for NYE!

My family of 5 and my 2 sisters and their families are planning a trip to the World Dec 26-30 after a 4 Day Christmas Cruise on the Dream. I will actually do a 3 night cruise prior to the 4 Day with the family with just my husband so I get 7 days on the boat and 5 Days in the park

Planning for the week after Thanksgiving 2013 & praying for a RO discount or FD! Taking my Mom for her 60th birthday, so it will be a mother-daughter trip. FUN!!

I'm really looking forward to doing the Candlelight Processional and seeing the Storytellers in EPCOT

We are going 12/7-12/15. Our group consists of 3 adults and we are doing a split stay between WL and CR. Our last trip was Thanksgiving Week 2011 and we stayed at POFQ.

We are going 12/9-12/16 and staying at POR. Our first night is room only then we will check out/check in to get free dining. I believe Pop Warner is over our first day. This is our third trip in December and we are so excited. We love all the lights and decorations!

We are actually going to come in on Nov. 30, 2013 but the trip will start Dec 1. It will be 4 adults and 2 kids. One little princess who doesn't remember her 1st trip and thinks she's "never going to get to go to Disney" will be 5 at the time. The other will be gulp 9 (that is hard for me to say and he's my nephew I hate to see what his mom feels like)

We are going in Dec 2013 we have been planning for several months. After Christmas last year I bought a bunch of Disney holiday stuff for 90% off. I will shop again this year. There are nine of us going. Adult only. It will be our 25 anniversary, my sis & BIL 10th, our friends 11th, my nieces engagement and our best friend is tagging along (maybe he will find someone to go with him). I'm gong to surprise everyone with gifts in the rooms. I will do up bags or stocking every night and housekeeping will put them in the rooms for me. I got lights and small trees for each room. I can't wait!!!

It's not even nov/dec 2012 and I'm ready for nov/dec 2013. nothing like wishing your life away.

I know what you mean. We booked at 499 days out and it seemed so far away but I am almost a month from it being a year away. I am anxiously waiting for the schedule of MVMCP to come out and for June when I can book ADRs. It helps to come on these and other Disney message boards.

we booked to at over 400 days out -closer to 500.

i will be looking at reviews for this december making my plans on what to see and whats not to miss.

i found a spread sheet of the story tellers i want to see how different this years will be compared to what i have from last year

Problem is usually the MVMCP ends on a Fri. and usually it's the Fri. before we would be there. That's what happened our last trip. We went from the Sat before Thanksgiving to the Sat after last year and MVMCP was the day before we arrived and the day after we left. I have never been to the party and want to experience it once and to see the MK tree which is why we decided to go in Dec 2013.

Sounds just like our house. We get a countdown every night from DD8 or DD3.
