A friend of mine who lives in Texas had gone shopping yesterday. She found Halloween things marked down to 70% off! Stores here do not usually have great deals, and especially not before a holiday arrives. So todays QOTD is-

How are the markdown, clearances, and sale deals in the stores in your area?

Posting tomorrows QOTD now since tonight will be a long night with taking the kids trick or treating.

How many of you will be decorating for Fall/Thanksgiving? What type of decorations are you planning on using?

There's always a really good clearance the day after the holiday at Target. I'm planning on heading there tomorrow, to see what Halloween stuff is left. Candy is at least 50% off, and most of the decorations are 75% off.

I do decorate for Fall/Thanksgiving. I have towels and a table cloth that are fall colors, and the kids have already decorated some turkeys from Michaels.

It is scary, and sad to see all of the hurricane pictures

I decorate for Fall/Thanksgiving. I put up signs, scarecrows .....

Target here has candy 30% off and decor 50% off so far. Wal-Mart is 50% off all holiday, candy included. Other stores are about the same. We scored today on Halloween granola bars, fruit snacks and fruit by the foot at half off

We decorate a little. Nothing major, a few hand turkeys and a wreath. Maybe some leaf stuff I do with Davy for preschool work.

I would love to know if anyone has made Baked Alaska. How did it turn out? How do you make it?

We have a few Fall scented candly and some plastic pumpkins. OH! and a pinecone wreath.

Probably either a German Chocolate cake or chocolate mousse.
