Yes, just ask a pharmacist or one of the techs ad they can take care of you.

So, other than Target (I already have that), BJ's (we don't have a BJ's), or other warehouse store, any good gift card deals for Disney Gift cards?

Gas deals? Supermarket deals?

Could you participate if you go to a Target Pharmacy in Pennsylvania or Delaware? Or is that too far?

Unfortunately, I can't participate either.

Purchases of prescription drugs paid for in whole or in part by federally funded government programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid) will not accumulate toward savings certificate.

I'm a federal employee, and they consider my Federal Employees Plan to be a partially federally funded government program. Even though I pay over $400 a month in coverage for just my DH and me.

At least they can't take my Target debit card away from me.

The federal health plan should qualify for rewards. It is Medicaid and Medicare that do not qualify. They are telling you wrong.

Actually, it is correct. The applicable law, 42 U.S.C. § 1320a-7b (which most pharmacies have posted somewhere) does not differentiate between federal assistance programs and federal employee programs. Pharmacies are legally prohibited from offering incentives to fill prescriptions that are paid for (all or in part) with federal funds. Walgreens was fined millions of dollars over this recently. In the past a lot of federal employees were able to use the coupons because there was nothing in the system that identified them as such. Since the Walgreens case, the system now identifies federal group numbers and labels those customers as coupon ineligible.

It's definitely NOT fair. I work in a pharmacy and it's not at all fun to tell someone that they can't use a great coupon with Tricare (military insurance). It's not the pharmacy staff's issue, or even the chain's. To them, the more customers that enroll, the better...that's why they have these programs. It is a federal government issue- they have made it clear how they are going to interpret the law and that they WILL prosecute violators.

I just got an offer in the mail yesterday for a Chase Disney Visa. One incentive is that if you spend $500 on the card within the first 3 months of opening it, you will receive a $200 Disney gift card.

H-E-B grocery stores in Texas have regular (1-3 times per year) 15%-20% off Disney Gift Cards. Of course, you'd have to figure out a way to get them.

Maybe there's a business opportunity somewhere in there for me ...
