Disney Gift Card Deals

BTW, I was in Safeway with my DD yesterday and They had a sign by the GCs that said $25 in free groceries when you buy $100 (I think, but I'm not positive) in GCs.

I saw the safeway deal too. Its $150 in GC for the $25 grocery catalina. There is a minimum purchase of $50 in groceries to use the catalina too. I believe this promotion runs through the 22nd.

Does anyone have any information on the gift card deal that target was offering this week. It listed 4 gift cards in the ad and then it said "more". Anyone know what other cards were in the deal?

My add says the cards shown. It shows Cracker Barrel, Hulu, Applebee's, Spa & Wellness and FarmVille

It is only the 5 shown sadly. Apparently it was vague enough for stores themselves to be confused about it because I read an "urgent message" last night confirming it was only those 5. Bummer

Debit cards have a maximum daily spending allowance on them to prevent fraud. My bank allows up to 2500.00 a day and than the card is declined. I found this out when I went to pay my trip off. You just have to call the bank ahead of time and ask them to raise the limit in their system to whatever you need. It took about 10 mins. for mine to go through.

If you get the Target Holiday guide/magazine thing with the $10 off of $100 purchase card on the back, I used mine for Disney GCs with no problem. Bought $500 worth of cards for $465 total.

Anyone know if Sams club is going to get their gift cards in again this year and if they'll go back to the $10 Disney Store credit or stick with things like vynilmation figurines?

There's another thread somewhere around here where someone mentioned seeing it on a pallet (don't know if it was high up or something). When we went to Sam's this weekend (last weekend before our card expired), they had the $75 (or $100) gift cards with a 15% off card for Disneystore.com (not any of the ones with the $10 Disney Store coupons).

We got it in the mail late last week. Size of a magazine, around 15-20 pages, peel of coupon on back for $10 off of $100 good through Nov 21st (I think).

I didn't read the whole thread so I apologize if this was already asked. Is there anyway to use your Disney gift cards to buy another Disney gift card for a larger amount? So if I bought 4 $50 gift cards at Target is there anyway to transfer that so it is one $200 gift card?

I haven't been able to figure out how to do it if there is and I even went I to a Disney Store. The issue is you can't pay for a Disney GC with a Disney GC which is what they would have to do. I took all my GC's with me to YC and got a very nice CM who applied them to my bal due to help me eat through all the little ones. A pain for me and them but I couldn't figure out any way to combine them.

You CAN combine multiple gift cards into one, all you have to do is pick one that you want the balance on, then call the toll free number on the back of the card and press whatever buttons it is to get to a love operator, tell them that you have multiple cards that you need combined. I have done this twice before, so it CAN be done. One time I had to ask for a lead, one time I didn't, but it worked both times.

If you are staying onsite at Disney World, You can also apply all of the gift cards you might have towards your room account when you check in, upon checking out they will refund any remaining balance to the credit card on file, if you gave them one at check in. We have done this before as well, so there are a couple of ways that you can handle multiple gift cards.

Oh sooo good to know. When I called I was told no so off to the Disney store I went and told no again, guess next time I'll just call and if told no ask for someone else. Now I feel bad making the poor CM at YC put through all those $25 GC's
