Headphones for car?
I just bought a new CRV and it came with the DVD system and one set of wireless headphones. I have two kids..
There's no place to plug in headphones, so I need another set of wireless headphones? Would any ones work? Do you just buy a pair and start using them? I'm totally clueless.

Normally they are wireless infared headphones. You can use any type or brand as long as they are IR. I picked up some on e-bay. You can even type in Honda CRV headphones and they will pop up.
I would talk to the dealer about a second set. In the 3 vehicles that we bought with DVD's, there was always 2 sets. We have 3 kids, so we always had to pick up another set. |

We have wireless headphones in "Minnie" too
we have 4 pairs and let me tell you, they are a lifesaver ! Just google whatever you alredy have, chances are you can buy them for cheaper online than through the dealership. We had to get 2 of them replaces under warranty and my eyes went , when I saw the purchase prise of $79 a set. So, be prepared for sticker shock for sure

Oops, sorry, I didn't notice that they were wireless. Check ebay or Amazon, it will probably be cheaper than thru the dealer

My first van had four sets in it (Oldsmobile Silhouette) for the VCR (it was the first van to put in an entertainment system). Our current Honda van came with two.
I'd also check with the dealer who sold you the car. I'd think it should come with two sets. |

I agree, get a model or serial number off the pair you have and google them. |

It's been 11 months since I bought the car..so I'm not going back now.
After I had posted this, I checked ebay and got a pair for like $20 that work perfectly.ETA: The CRV with the rear entertainment system does come with just the one pair, standard. Last edited by JVL1018; 04-17-2013 at 12:43 PM. |
