Judy, love all the photos. Isn't it wonderful when our children go after what they are good at and thrive?

I want to wish you and all the family a very Merry Christmas.

All I can say about David is that he is very talented and can't wait to see what he does for Billy's order of a pen and pencil set. God has blessed each of your children with their own unique gifts and talent. It is a joy to see them sharing it with others. Have a blessed Christmas!
Gail, It was SO WONDERFUL to talk to you and hear your voice, THANK YOU for calling! I feel even better that you still want to order after seeing one of David's pens in person. David has a special idea for Billy's set and is eager for the woodworking shop to reopen (they will be closed the next two Mondays for the holiday...we have GOT to get him a lathe so he can work at home). He also has a dollhouse he needs to build, I HOPE by Lisa's birthday!
I love to see the children enjoying what THEY like to do.

I hope you have a truly blessed Christmas, full of family and love.

wow 5 inches, it looks cute in her pony tails!
Thank you my dear, I love sharing them with you all. Those children just love my girls! Dogs and children...they can tell when you are a good person, I always listen to Bandit, if he doesn't like you something is vastly wrong. He is a good judge of character. LOVED that we had time to talk last night, hope all goes well the next few days and then it is HAITI! I can hardly believe it is finally here!!!

Merry Christmas!!

Loved the pictures!

Yes, you are blessed with your children and they are equally blessed to have you encouraging and helping them to pursue their interests and strengths. There are so many wonderful opportunities out there, but some are sure hard to find!

You are truly kind Tink, I appreciate those understanding words. It CAN be hard to find (and find creative ways to pay) for opportunities I know you understand that. I hope your Christmas is blessed!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

I know this sounds very selfish, but please pray for us emotionally. Angel's wish granter just called to say Angel's wish is being granted. She didn't have specifics, but said she knew it was a 5 (we know that isn't the Fantasy). We are very grateful that she is being granted a wish, but it was still very disappointing to find out that she won't be able to have her specific wish, and the special activities she had selected. We took it much harder than we expected. It's been a very hard year, and I think we were hoping for her wish more than we realized.

Some photos from the classes Rachel and Lisa have instructed over the past month on animal kindness. Sometimes Lisa is loved/hugged as much as Bandit.

The Hem-Onc clinic gave us tickets to the dress rehearsal for "The Singing Christmas Tree." Other than all of the sick people coughing around us, we LOVED it! Amazing show, I had never seen it. The chidren all had haircuts the next day...Lisa had FIVE inches cut off. Lisa and I were not happy...Pete took them because I was helping my parents.

A few of our nutcrackers and our tree.

The Angel Tree Topper Lisa made.

Adorable Lisa.

David won the Engineers choice (second year in a row) for his wonderful bridge design. I always say when the people who do this for a living pick YOU out of all the entries..well, you must be doing something right....because they are the people that know what is good and will work.

Rachel and Lisa performed at the children's hospital on Thursday. I was so upset with myself, I didn't know the camera shut off videotaping at 9:59 minutes and missed a lot of their performance. It was simply wonderful. Lisa has star power and commands the stage, when given the opportunity She talks, banters introduces and leads and Rachel happily lets her. They are the Jon Bon Jovi/Richie Sambora pairing...one the showman and the other the genius guitarist. I didn't take one pic of them on stage together; however, I managed to somehow capture a screenshot (which I have tried unsuccessfully to do again, I could get some great pics if I could figure it out). They performed five songs together, including one Rachel wrote. Rachel even sang TWO songs as she played. Then Rachel played alone, then with her camp guitar teacher and then with him and a bass player, who is well-known locally. I did think to take a few in front of the hospital Christmas tree...Chiara and Andrea, do you recognize your handy work? Everyone LOVED our shirts/skirts! The CSA school Program director told me she LOVED the dynamics between the two. She told me she fully expects them to be touring the country as a major act one day. I think if that is what they choose to do, they will be very successful. They are very young and there is time to decide to do that, if that is their hearts desire. I will continue to let them perform; however I will never push them.

Lisa at her inhouse ballet show in a dance from the Nutcracker on Thursday.

I don't have a picture of it; however, Christian has recently completed a novel he has been working on for several months and is in the final editing stages. I am very blessed my children have found their strengths and work at their respective interests joyfully.
Ahhhhh, love the pictures!!!! Everyone looks great and congratulations to all your children on such terrific accomplishments!!!

Emily has had a whirlwind few weeks. She finally got her driver's license and although hesitant to go anywhere, she can if she wants.
She was the Macy's Believe Day Wish Kid and was treated to a shopping spree at Macy's Northlake last Friday. It was such a fun and exciting day.
We are leaving for NYC on her wish trip on Friday. We know we are seeing Wicked, The Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular and The Today Show on Monday. We are also doing the Harbor Tour, Empire State Building, the 9/11 Memorial and they have tickets to the AMC New Year's Eve Party for us. So exciting.

This was on the news here:

I am battling some nasty cold virus. I am praying the girls and Jeff don't get it. I don't want anyone sick for our Make a Wish trip.

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. xo
Hope you are all healthy and have an amazing time!!!!!

I continue to lift up in prayer. Hope everyonr had a great Christmas. We pulled off the room switch smoothly/--thanks to my parents spending the night to help us! Kaitlyn loves it and has so much more room to play now! My new room is a wreck now, though. I did 13 miles on Christmas Eve---woohoo! Shocked at how I can do that now. The race is just a few weeks away now! Prayers we stay fit and healthy and also for our fundraising efforts. We have an actual tracking donation site on First Giving now....I have not asked permission to put it in my sig yet but I can certainly share PM. We set a goal of $500 for Team Gleason but we are only 10% there.

I ordered a birthday cake for Jesus for our new fsmily tradition and then forgot to pick it up Christmas Eve!! We picked it up today and they were very kind about it-- asked if I still wanted it. So I can still show my face in Rouses...whew!

Speaking of the cake.... I think it's time to have a piece. Prayers for all the needs and for all the friends here!!!!!
