That was a lot of typing! tisk, tisk! I do hope your hand is feeling better.

I am sorry to hear about your father needing chemo. It sounds like he is feeling better, so that is great, I pray he get the strength needed for his treatment and that it is successful. Praying you mom's treatment for her eyes is successful. Eye things are so scary. I couldn't imagine getting injection into my eyes! I can barely put contacts in.

I would love to see the video links, please and thank you!

I managed to get all my shelves put together and up without getting crushed under any. (There was one big one than I almost though it would have to stay on the floor until I got help but I did manage to get it up.) Tomorrow is baking day

My sister sent me a picture of her christmas tree she got. Still needs to be decorated but we have a tree for christmas.

Judy, I hope you can find a way to get the necessary things done on the house.

Praying for all in need.

Judy, I found Lisa's singing video. She did a great job singing Beauty and the Beast! I didn't get to Rachel's video, but will come back later and check it out.

Good morning Judy!

I left you a message last night that I got my pen! the photos don't do David's pen's justice! Megan was very impressed with it too! I love the weight of it and will be showing it off!

so for anyone else thinking of getting one (I got the pink/red swirly one) they are more than worth it!

hope you are having a great day!

Hi Judy

Not sure if you sent the link to David's website. It showed I had a PM, but when I opened it nothing was no PM

The PMs seem to be working weird.

Howdy to everybody! This will probably be my last post until after Christmas. We are leaving to go up to the Boston area to visit with my sister and parents the day after Christmas. (Shhhh - I really shouldn't be sitting here on the computer, as I have so much to do before then!) Glad to get caught up. Judy, we got your card yesterday and loved it! Elisabeth took it to put up in her room since it is from "her friend". Sorry to hear that your Dad will require chemo and that your Mom is having more eye troubles. It seems like if it is not one thing, it is another.

Good news, the school my big kids are in called and they got a spot for my youngest son for kindergarten next year. It is PM (my first choice was AM), but I'm OK with that - just glad he got in!

My Grandma has her appointment today with the hematologist at the UofArizona Hospital. She told me this morning she hopes it is a "Shakespeare appointment" - when I asked what she meant, she laughed and said "You, know, Much Ado About Nothing!". I am glad she has a good outlook, and truly hope it does turn out to be an easy fix, but am concerned that her WBC count has fallen lower every time they do the blood work.

Praying for Scotty and Michele, Judy's family, Lisa and Meghan as they get ready to leave, and the rest who have requested it. I hope all of you have a wonderful, blessed Christmas as you remember the reason we celebrate.

I have been enjoying my family and the wonder of the season. There have been so many activities and lots of fun. I have pictures of some of the activities and thought I would post a few.

Some photos from the classes Rachel and Lisa have instructed over the past month on animal kindness. Sometimes Lisa is loved/hugged as much as Bandit.

The Hem-Onc clinic gave us tickets to the dress rehearsal for "The Singing Christmas Tree." Other than all of the sick people coughing around us, we LOVED it! Amazing show, I had never seen it. The chidren all had haircuts the next day...Lisa had FIVE inches cut off. Lisa and I were not happy...Pete took them because I was helping my parents.

A few of our nutcrackers and our tree.

The Angel Tree Topper Lisa made.

Adorable Lisa.

David won the Engineers choice (second year in a row) for his wonderful bridge design. I always say when the people who do this for a living pick YOU out of all the entries..well, you must be doing something right....because they are the people that know what is good and will work.

Rachel and Lisa performed at the children's hospital on Thursday. I was so upset with myself, I didn't know the camera shut off videotaping at 9:59 minutes and missed a lot of their performance. It was simply wonderful. Lisa has star power and commands the stage, when given the opportunity She talks, banters introduces and leads and Rachel happily lets her. They are the Jon Bon Jovi/Richie Sambora pairing...one the showman and the other the genius guitarist. I didn't take one pic of them on stage together; however, I managed to somehow capture a screenshot (which I have tried unsuccessfully to do again, I could get some great pics if I could figure it out). They performed five songs together, including one Rachel wrote. Rachel even sang TWO songs as she played. Then Rachel played alone, then with her camp guitar teacher and then with him and a bass player, who is well-known locally. I did think to take a few in front of the hospital Christmas tree...Chiara and Andrea, do you recognize your handy work? Everyone LOVED our shirts/skirts! The CSA school Program director told me she LOVED the dynamics between the two. She told me she fully expects them to be touring the country as a major act one day. I think if that is what they choose to do, they will be very successful. They are very young and there is time to decide to do that, if that is their hearts desire. I will continue to let them perform; however I will never push them.

Lisa at her inhouse ballet show in a dance from the Nutcracker on Thursday.

I don't have a picture of it; however, Christian has recently completed a novel he has been working on for several months and is in the final editing stages. I am very blessed my children have found their strengths and work at their respective interests joyfully.

It's been a crazy few weeks for us. I left you a message, but I am sure I sounded crazy.
Emily has had a whirlwind few weeks. She finally got her driver's license and although hesitant to go anywhere, she can if she wants.
She was the Macy's Believe Day Wish Kid and was treated to a shopping spree at Macy's Northlake last Friday. It was such a fun and exciting day.
We are leaving for NYC on her wish trip on Friday. We know we are seeing Wicked, The Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular and The Today Show on Monday. We are also doing the Harbor Tour, Empire State Building, the 9/11 Memorial and they have tickets to the AMC New Year's Eve Party for us. So exciting.
Here are the links to the media things on the Believe Day.

I am battling some nasty cold virus. I am praying the girls and Jeff don't get it. I don't want anyone sick for our Make a Wish trip.

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. xo

Praying for your needs as well Amy, it is hard when so much is going on. So happy DS will be with his siblings next year. Tanks for keeping US in prayer as well.

Hi Judy, so glad that we finally got to talk for a bit yesterday and catch up with each other. Love seeing all the pictures and what the family has been doing. All I can say about David is that he is very talented and can't wait to see what he does for Billy's order of a pen and pencil set. God has blessed each of your children with their own unique gifts and talent. It is a joy to see them sharing it with others. Have a blessed Christmas!

Kelly, What a wonderful surprise Macy's and MAW did for Emily! You'll have to share how everything went when you get back from NYC. Have a wonderful time!

Merry Christmas everyone!
