I absolutely loved the story of how Lisa was famous at Disney. What wonderful folks to come up with this way of making a little girl feel so very special. It looks like Lisa LOVED it. I have to think that the folks who put it together got as much joy out of the day as Lisa did. What an amazing day for your family.

Lisa / Judy -- I want you to know I have a package from an Amazon order that was not shipped via Amazon. All my Amazon items came at least a week ago and this package from the private company has yet to arrive I also know last year in Dec I sent two packages priority mail (2-3 day) and both took 5 days to arrive. Let's hope both our things arrive safely eventually.

Judy, my dh is gone tonight too! Had I known I would have invited you over! I'd put you to work though -- I have lots to do! So I best be going and doing -- need to wash that one last shirt I bought. I have 8 done and just that last one to do. Still waiting to hear from 2 girls though.

Leaving shortly for my very long day to get Dad to all of his MD appointments. Please keep us in prayer that the doctors are all on time and that my Dad's energy holds up for us to do all of this. Christian has a MD appointment himself, good thing he can handle things on his own.

Andrea: I hope Jayson is having more fun than Pete has had and gets home safely. Pete's plane gets in just before 4 and he will beat me home, even with the drive from the airport.

I didn't go back and read posts, so maybe she already posted and requested prayer? Michele's (kaoden) in a bit of a fix right now, with her one foot and other knee injured and causing pain.

Just popping in to get an update and wanted to say what a beautiful TR update that was! How wonderful that your family got to feel so special!

Please keep my Grandma in your prayers. She was supposed to come for a visit this week from Tucson, went for routine bloodwork right before and got a call NOT to travel by plane or even go to the grocery store - her white blood cell count is dangerously low and they have no idea why. She waited several days to try to get an appointment with the hematologist, but they kept putting her off for some unknown reason...she now has an appointment with the head of hematology at UofA for next week and they will do one of those bone-marrow draws from her hip to try to get a better picture of what is going on. She is always on the go and being stuck at home is really getting to her, but we are all trying to call her multiple times a day and my aunt flew in from CA to stay with her for a few days to try to keep her mind busy. On the bright side, she knits like a house afire and said that being stuck in the house has allowed her to get quite a bit done on her projects (she makes helmet liners and donates them to the soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, and has also been working on some blankets to give). So at least her spirits are good right now, and we are so thankful that she hasn't gotten sick, as her immunity is nil.

Also, thanks for your thoughts and prayers about my fingers. They are almost completely healed up and I have just a tiny bit of scarring on the joint! I still don't have complete range of motion yet, but have no doubt that it will eventually come back, based on how well everything looks right now.

DH has lumbar fusion scheduled tentatively for Jan 11th. Ofcourse it is pending insurance approval (and many of you know this is no fun).

Judy, I hope everything went well today. I may be scarce the next couple of days. I am working on final prep for Alexa's Bday sleepover. I have one mom that I'd like to ring the neck of -- she's not sure if her dd is coming or not but will try to show up. Sweet me said that was fine but the mean me inside my head wants to boot her b/c one girl makes all the difference if I need to embroider the last shirt and pull one of the dining room chairs out of the attic.

Tomorrow I work in the morning (this is a last minute thing but it should only be for 2 hours) and then the kids have a play in the afternoon so I don't have too much free time tomorrow. Friday morning I have another school performance to attend and then it's really final party prep which should include decorating the cake (I already baked half of it and have it in the freezer). I cleaned today, but not perfect -- still need to dust and do bathrooms but otherwise the house is in good shape. I also have to bathe those stinky dogs again -- can't have a puppy party with smelly pooches.

So anyway, if you don't see me the next couple of days you'll know what I'm up to.

I e-mailed the company about my missing package and it is indeed missing. They said they would send another one out priority mail to me and assured me I would have it before Christmas. They were very kind and apologetic. By the tracking I'm not sure it even left their place of business, but it could have and gotten lost immediately and therefore no further tracking.

Lesson for the day: if you roll out pillsbury pizza dough and cut it with terrier cookie cutters forget about taking the scrap pieces and rolling them out again. They just won't roll out! This means a trip to the grocery store for one or two more cans of dough.
