I agree, don't think water view is worth it at moderate resorts. I've had free upgrades to river view, and while nice, don't think it's worth paying for because you don't have a balcony to enjoy it from. I book garden view because I don't want to be by parking lot

There are benches all around the resort, by gardens and along the river.

Those places look amazing! Are there any areas that have tables also? Like any outdoor dining areas in FQ?

Yes, there are tables along the outside of the food court, and tables in pool area, near the pool bar.

I have a quick question for someone who is either at POFQ or has stayed recently. We have an upcoming trip to POFQ in September and my Mom has some mobility issues but is not in a wheelchair.

I was wondering if the bathtub/shower has grab bars on the wall.

I'm pretty sure our room didn't have any grab bars or anything. I think you would need to ask for an accesible room to get that.

I just checked pictures on allears.net and there are definitely grab bars in the tub area.

I just watched a couple of YouTube videos and there were no grab bars in the Standard room bathrooms. These videos were after the rehab last year.

I'm not saying they aren't there, just that I didn't see them in the videos. AllEars POFQ room video from 2010 does show the bar.

This will be my fifth family trip and our first to POFQ. We are traveling with one person who is handicapped, are the water taxis at POFQ ECV acsessi/ble

Yes they are. There is a ramp that takes you down to the boat dock area. They will require to transfer from the wheelchair/ECV once boarded and will usually be offered one of the first seats as you board the boat. They are pretty good at keeping these clear in case they are needed

I am currently at POFQ and my mom is in a mobility scooter. This is our 4th time at Disney and I would say this is the most handicap accessible resort we have been in. The boat is no problem.

On the one day that my friend has to work, I am planning on going to a Braves spring training game at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. How do I get there from POFQ.

The Braves is my favorite team and I have always wanted to go to a spring training game. I am so excited.

Regarding grab bars: I just got back from POFQ on 2/13, and there were no grab bars in the tub/shower (standard/normal 2-queens room). As a PP said, you probably need an accessible room for that.
