So as POFQ is right next to Epcot, here's how it would fit (to scale) if you moved it a bit and dropped the whole resort onto Innoventions:




As you can see, the distance from the far end of building 1 at French Quarter all the way over to the other end of building 7 is about the same as the walk from the entrance of The Land over to Mission Space.


Or at The Magic Kingdom, the whole of POFQ would span from the entrance of Adventureland over to Space Mountain:



Of course the above would mean replacing Stitch's Great Escape with a swimming pool, but that sounds like a reasonable idea to me...

Also, the entire resort is only about 1/4 of a mile wide. So even if you have the farthest room the most you would have to walk would be 1/8 mile, 660 ft, +2 flights of stairs.

July 2013 will be our first time so those overlays do the trick! Be nice to Stitch if he ends up in the POFQ pool you never know what could happen

Andre, you have a nice map overlay above. Any chance that could find it's way to page 1 along with the map of room types/categories?? That would sure be helpful for newcomers and for those who only stop by occasionally. Thanks!

I just posted that awesome pic of POFQ in the rain by expressmonorail as my wallpaper on my iPad. :-) I'm thinking GV upper floor, outside corner, buildings 6 or 4 preferably? I was going to do River View, but not sure it's worth the extra money since you don't have private balconies.

Due to the small size of the resort, I never think it's worth the extra money to upgrade the room, but that's just my opinion

Also, it's surprising that some rooms you would THINK are garden are actually standard. So doing some research into that may help with costs as well ^_^

Yes, we are staying at POFQ. We just booked a standard room this time. Normally we do a garden, but since it is just us, we don't really care.

I do know I don't want to be near the pool.
