Hi everyone,

I want to spend some time in disneyworld on my next florida vacation with the magic your way package. Does anyone know if Disney are going to offer the free dining for aug 2013? and if so when are they likely to release the dates for you to be able to book it?

I am from the UK but will only be spending 5 days in Disney, our packages have to include a 14 day disney ticket which is a waste of money if we are going for 5 days. Magic your way is best for us

If anyone has any help that would be great

Hello and welcome to the DIS!

There is no way to predict whether or not WDW will offer FD for 2013; that being said, it has been offered in August for the last several years.

Somewhere here is a post with a list of all the FD dining dates and when they've been released - I searched and searched this morning and haven't been able to find it.

I did find a list of all discounts that have been released by WDW (including room discounts) on Mousesavers HERE.

I'm sure someone has the link to the page on the DIS with just the FD dates, so hopefully they will come in and post it for you.

The UK offer may actually have better dates for you, depending on how late in August you want to visit. While some years the offers in the US for MYW packages have been as early as August 16, most of the time they've been for the end of August. The current offer is for check-ins starting August 25.

Thankyou for your reply! and thank you so much for looking for me! I hope it didn't take too much of your time. It appears that the free dining offers are available the actual year rather than a year before you are looking to travel. I will have to keep checking with the disney website and hope they will offer the free dining for my stay

Its been said that UK free dining will be out on the 10th April this year for booking in 2013 here's keeping fingers crossed. UK free dining normally starts very early August if not late July US dining late August. Hope this helps

the OP has indicated he doesn't want the UK free dining offer because he indicated it requires purchase of a 14 day park pass and he only wants 5 days. But it is probably true that UK free dining will be out much earlier, and have different dates from US free dining.
