One of our posters on the Trip Advisor DLP forum has just been told that their Dreams meal reservation for 9th October will now be for an ordinary meal, as the Dreams ones will only be on Fridays.

That is interesting Figgygirl - not bodeing well for November then is it!? I can't see it being on at all by then.
Wonder why only Fridays? Seems a bit odd - why not all weekend when the opening hours are longer .

I agree. Surely Saturdays at least. It may vary with the different restaurants though.
One poster phoned Disney to pay their trip balance, and asked about the Dreams meals. They were told that they could be extended to end of December, but not definite. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTop....html#43817567 |

I don't know what the current menus are for the Dreams meals - I plan to check this when I go on 3rd October.
They will accept Meal Plan vouchers at face value in Euros, and deduct these from your bill. You don't get the soft drink or bottle of water included though. You can only use one voucher per person towards the cost. |

The printed out menus in the restaurants haven't changed from those that are on the 1st page of this thread.
They now offer you other dishes but it's not part of the printed up Dreams menu in several languages - would no doubt cost too much to reprint ![]() I've spoken to several people over there in City Hall and at the restaurants and everyone has a vague answer of what is happening I'm going again twice this week so will re ask but I really don't think they tell the staff much until the last minute and even then it seems to change on a daily basis

Thanks Carrie_Cat,
You are very lucky to be able to go there so often! Not really worth my checking menus in October then? |

Just to update -
One of our posters on the TA DLP forum has just booked Dreams meal for lunch in Walt's on November 11th, which is a National Holiday for Armistice Day. They were told that from now on the Dreams meals will only be available at weekends, and maybe only for lunch, not dinner. Last edited by Figgygirl; 09-28-2012 at 08:19 PM. |

. Hmm I don't think we'll manage a VIP meal then. The only time we could do it would be Saturday lunchtime (at Blue Lagoon perhaps, not sure I fancy Walts again for it?) but then we want to go to Inventions for dinner that night so it's a bit too much of a food fest!!!

The children's menu is now 19.50 - was it 19.00 before?
We had this on Saturday at Walts (DH didn't want to do BL). We timed it just right and got a window table for the Cavalcade which was nice (although I am glad we also watched it from the street too because you don't see it as well). I do have the new menu on my camera and will try and upload in the next day or so. Have to say, we had a gorgeous meal - much nicer than June as there is a fair bit more choice. I am fairly sure the starters have changed too, and the desserts definitely have and are much nicer. In June the children had a different dessert to us - this time we all had the same (not sure what it was - sort of chocolate bombe with milk & white chocolate mousse inside, with a nutty base). Delicious meal in all. Saturday night, despite the rain, the park was heaving and therefore spots for Dreams were limited. Once again though, I think if you were adults (no children in puschairs or small height) you probably wouldn't need this. We however found it useful to turn up 10 mins before show start (especially as it was pouring down). The girls got a reasonable view - not as good as June I would say, as even the VIP area was busy. As this was our second viewing of Dreams though (first of this trip, we were at the rope due to low numbers!), we weren't too worried

Thanks for the prices update and details of the new menu would be much appreciated.
I watched Dreams from the 'VIP' area corner on Thursday 22nd November, but it wasn't roped off as not doing the Dreams meals. Gave me a chance to see what the view is like from there as I usually like to be right at the front. Got some super photos and video, but more posts with lights/speakers are in the way when you stand here. You get a better overall view of the fireworks and fountains though, and the images on the water screens look bigger when you are further away. We waited an hour at the front of the Castle for our place there, so couldn't watch Tree Lighting as well on that night. The next night ( Thursday) we watched Tree Lighting, then nipped down Liberty Arcade to get a spot on the corner of Central Plaza, which would be in the VIP area. There was a short fountain show at 6.45pm before Dreams began at 7pm. Being off peak weekdays the park was not very busy, which helps. |

That surprised me as well Carrie - yes, it was €20 for kids before.
