Also wondering if discounts will be few and far between with the new expansion opening......But, I am hoping for a great deal!

We are thinking of Memorial Day, too. May 25-June 1. But if we can take advantage of YES tickets we may postpone until mid-June even though I prefer the end of May. We are also tossing around the idea of a couple of days at Universal to start the trip off May 23-25. We've never been and DS12 would really like to see HP.

Hoping for a good discount, or dare I say, pincode. There's a first time for everything.

I'm worried about a lack of discounts because of the expansion. Our oldest DD will be in high school next year so there's no chance of pulling her out of school for a week to go during Labor Day like we have done in the past. I hate paying full price!

I am worried about lack of discounts too......We can never pull DS11 out of school - he usually misses a lot due to his allergy issues anyway. I really don't want to pay full price - so if needed I will postpone to get YES tickets. Come on Pins and Discounts!!

I am glad that I am not the only one who is hoping for a good pin in May. I am planning on taking my DD for an early Birthday for Memorial day weekend. If there is no snow days her last day of school should be the a half day the friday before than. I just got a pin for the free dinning for the summer so I am hoping to get something good for the dates of our trip next year. I will be going not matter what (already promised her) but if I get a good discount I can maybe do a mod resort or fit in some extra magic.

At least I am not in this boat alone. Praying we all get a good discount code.

I'm subbing to the thread....but I haven't convinced my husband yet to go back in 2013 (so I may just take my kids without him). We did mid-May a few years ago and LOVED it.....but I'm leaning closer to Memorial Day Weekend this time..OR sweating it out in August 2013 so I don't have to pull the kids out of school (we don't go back until after Labor Day here). But either way I'm hoping to get back in late Spring or late Summer 2013!!!!

(Clearly I'm having withdrawals, b/c we just got 2 weeks ago!)

I am tossing around the same times as you! My 2 DDs will be in college so I am considering 2 choices. 1. Take my DS out of school for 5 days and go May 16 - 25 or 2. Go right before they all go back to school from Aug 16 - 25. We have gone in Aug with FD in 2009 and 2011 and it was pretty crowded but much cheaper. It would be nice to go in May with less people but it has potential to be significantly more expensive A nice discount sure would make my decision easier.
