Finding the perfect magical Disneymoon
Okay Okay I know this topic has been discussed here a million times. You people are awesome.
I found the girl I want to marry. I put a ring on it and we got a date all set. We have decided we going to WDW for our Honeymoon. Question: Where is the best place you think one should spend there honeymoon? I'm going bonkers trying to make everything perfect. Currently after doing my research from you fine people, my first choice is the WL Honeymoon suite. Is there any other "For two" and romantic rooms in other resorts you fine people can suggest? Pictures really don't do justice in hotels. Where did you guys stay on honeymoons? What did you wish you stayed and did? THANKS! Dave |

First off....
![]() And Congratulations on your engagement!!! VERY exciting!!! So, I think the WL Honeymoon Suite sounds great, though I've heard it's not any bigger than the other rooms, but I believe it has a jacuzzi tub (someone will correct me if I'm wrong) DH and I had our Disneymoon 10 years ago... We stayed at....wait for it....All Star Sports we just couldn't afford anything else, and you know what...it didn't matter to us one bit...we were just so happy to be married and to be on our honeymoon I think we could have stayed in a box and still have been happy. . That being said, WL and Poly were our dream resorts for our honeymoon...we have had several trips to Disney since then with our daughters and have stayed values and one mod, but this summer we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary at the Poly and BC and I am soooooo excited!!! even though our girls will be with us, this is like our honeymoon reboot!!!

First off, Congrats!
My wife and I honeymooned at the BC for several reasons... 1. Location...we could walk to EPCOT, and most importantly, to the F&W Festival! 2. Atmosphere...we had heard that the BC has more kid appeal than the YC, but honestly, I did not notice any major difference. After all, you're in WDW! 3. Service....the CM's at the BC were PHENOMENAL! THey did everything from champagne and strawberries to the room to drawing baths, and every step of the way they made my wife feel extra special. They were amazing! GF would be another logical choice, but really, you can't go wrong with any of the deluxes. Have a great time! |

We had our honeymoon at WDW and stayed at CBR because we decided that we wouldn't really be in the room all that much. That being said if I had to choice a moderate again I would go with CSR or deluxe Polynesian. If I wanted a Villa I think Saratoga because of the spa.

My wife and I honeymoon at Disney April 2009 and stayed at the Polynesian with a Theme Park View room. It was a great room.
See the link below for trip report and pictures of the resort. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2186962

If I could do it again, and you did say "perfect"
, I'd want the GF honeymoon suite in the main building. OMG! HEAVEN!

Congratulations! DH and I honeymooned in Disney- we weren't as knowledgeable back then about Disney are we are now. We had a room at the POR with a view of the river. I was just happy to be in Dinsey

See, thats what I think she wants too. She told me she would take just about anything (Sorry, not a box though). I really want this to be special.. like, magical omg special... Then there is the option of going though Costco and saving about $2k but staying off propriety... |

OMG I agree!!!! and people say its not even worth it bc your hardly in your room... I agree to a point you are on your honeymoon
and your paying for the amenities I guess... IDK i'm so torn because my dream since I was a little girl was to look at the castle out of my window... but for almost 400 a night i don't know if its worth it... and I don't want to tease myself with going one or two nights during our stay because i know how I am lol
