So excited. Started packing today. Autograph cards are done. Laundry is done. The pet sitter, aka my dad will be here on Wednesday with my mom. We fly out on Friday. I am still really nervous about the 1/2 marathon, but the rest of the trip will be awesome. I am so looking forward to spending some quality time with my husband and mom. Luckily they get along great. He is closer to her than his own mom.

22 more days until we check in to AKL! I am so excited but I wish I had more to plan. I finally have everything set and it's really hard to just sit back and wait...

I keep looking and relooking at my ADRs to make sure there's not anything else I should change and checking the LTM site to see if anything new is going on...I wish I could forget about the trip until it's time to fly to Orlando or else it's going to be a looooooong 22 days!

Last minute trip planned for Jan. 18-23!

But I'm terrified of the flu. We haven't had it yet and illness ruined our last January trip. Am I testing fate to think it won't happen again? Anybody there that can give a coughing and wellness report on the people at the parks?

I just returned home last night and while there I saw NO sick people, not Evan a snotty nose kid

the guy sitting next to my DH on the plane did did cough a few time

but he just needed a drink. I was about to offer him a tissue to cover but he took a drink and was fine.

i am terrified too! My DD picked up rotavirus at WDW when she was two and it was awful. Last few trips my DH has been insane about hand sanitizer before eating ANYTHING and it seemed to help! Last trip I got food poisoning, but can't really prevent that!

I was just telling my DH yesterday that if morning sickness hits while I'm at DW I'm going to have to announce to all those within ear shot that it's the baby growing in my belly NOT the flu that made me get sick. It won't make it better, but at least I won't cause 50 Moms to be thinking that their kid is going to get sick next.

I feel the same illness fear. We ended up in the Celebration ER on my DS's bday 2 years ago because he was so sick with strep. Then last year my DD was very ill with what we now know is a chronic illness. At least we are prepared with her meds and wheelchair. I would just hate to have another unexpected illness ruin our trip again!

We're staying at the CR during our September trip and I can't wait!! I convinced the DH that since it will be our last trip for a while, that we need to book my dream room at the CR /w TPV.
