Yay! We received this yesterday! It is so cute!!!

Although we may not use the cake set because I really want the DFTW one. But it was cheaper to order the whole set.

We also wanted to put a sign by the guest book... since we only have 30 guests I want them to sign more than just their names.

I think your guest book idea is sweet. I have seen people also do decorated cards that people can fill out with advice/comments and then the cards can be used in a wedding scrapbook. We ended up having guests sign a matte frame, which we later filled in with pics from our wedding day.

There is also the ol' polaroid picture idea, where you leave out a polaroid camera, and guests can take pics and then attach to a pre-arranged guest book and add comments. It could be cute to have little Disney related props they can add to the photos!

but something Disney'ish. You could get Mickey ears, mickey big white gloves...oh the possibilities are endless!

Here is our scedule for food for the week of our wedding/honeymoon... I know this looks like a ton of running around for food, but we go to Disney a lot... and since we have the DDP - we will be eating good... We may end up canceling a few things here and there as it gets closer. Cant tell Im TRYING to be super organized....

Oh and BTW... Chanel is our little princess puppy... dont think Ive added a pic of her yet... She is a 5 year old maltese. She has a whole closet full of clothes, and yes her tail is pink, I dye it with cherry Kool-Aid

Ahh some days we are at the same park, but we have the same restaurant but for a different meal. WAH. Though, we will be at the park, so might see ya!

Your wedding journal is making me want to renew our vows at Disney. Though, I think you have to be married 20 years or so to really warrant a vow renewal! haha. So maybe in the year 2025!

Okay so originally we were going to use Impressions for our invitations but I had the price wrong and to get exactly what we wanted with pictures that belong to Disney our 25 invites would have been over $900... I couldn't see justifying spending that on invites. I mean I know that I never keep a invite to a wedding that I've been to after the fact. Plus I wanted to spend that extra on better things not paper

We ended up using Somer Studios... I actually found her on Etsy. She does have a castle design that she uses (its not the Cinderella castle, but I never liked Impressions pictures of castles all that much). We have been working with Cristy from Somer Studios for at least 2 months now and she has been extremly accomidating with all my many changes and it only costs $5.00 with her to actually get a sample of your invite (so I could actually see how it will eb put together not just a proof). Anyways, we should be getting our invites next week and I will def post a picture of the finished product for you all to see. We ended up going with a pocket because of all the information (we have an invite card, response card, reception card, dessert party card, and farewell brunch card, and we also did a timeline card. And the best part... for 25 invites w/ printin gon envelopes came to $178!!!!

We received our invitations today in the mail!!!! We decided not to use Impressions because of the cost. But we went with Somer Studios. I actually found them on Etsy. Cristy was wonderful to work with and very accommodating with my many changes. Our invitations for 25 of them with the envelopes printed and shipping to us was $178. We had 4 cards in the pocket and an RSVP envelope, and I also had her make a calendar of events to put in the envelope with the overall invite. I am extremely happy with the quality and how they came out. We also ordered stamps from Zazzle. They have Disney designs, but the great part is you can add text to them. We havent received them yet, but Ill post a picture when we do.

Thanks!!!! Yeah we were debating over the pocketfold ever since we started talking about invitations, but with so many wedding events that I wanted separate cards for - we thought the pocketfold would work best. I love them.... Now if our stamps would come in.... They are supposed to arrive August 21st, but I really wanted them before this weekend to work on them. Oh well...
