I was wondering if you would share where you found the cake banding from? It is very expensive from Disney and I want it, but I need to get a move on finding it from an alternative option.

I will look through my book and let you know who we got it from later this morning. I know Disney wanted to charge $350 for what I got for $65! And I ordered 4 yards and they sent me 4.4 yards. Don't know when your wedding is, but I'll be trying to sell it after our wedding.

Thank you! I'm getting married on January 7, but we're leaving for FL on the 3rd. My quote is $170 for 2 of the 3 tiers. That is great you were able to save so much on it! I consider anything I save right now as a win and will help towards the cost of other extras!!

Haha like that meal schedule? I know, it just shows how crazy I am! I think the hardest part of leaving for the honeymoon and wedding, will be saying goodbye to our puppy Chanel. She is our fur daughter and I just wish she could be part of our wedding. But she will have fun at her Disney... a pet resort.

Yes I LOVE LOVE LOVE our invites. I think if you order through impressions... they will for sure turn out amazing and if you are ordering more of them then it makes the price per piece not so scary. I am so excited my mom ordered that dress. We actually went this weekend for her to look for shoes for it, but the dress place is getting her a swatch, so she's gonna wait till then to look again.

So this weekend I re-organized the big totes to deliver to Franck's studio the day before the wedding. Im just getting so anxious to use whats in them! I want it to come already, but Im not ready yet.

I am bringing heart shaped glass votives for the tables and going to have a family member put them down before everyone is allowed into the reception room. We found the battery operated candles for them - I HATE those cheap plastic looking tea lights that you can find everywhere, so we found ones that actually look like a real candle and they smell like vanilla too. We also got some burgandy ribbon to put around the heart votive and tie into a bow. Then Im going to put Mickey heads around on the ribbon with one 7 mm rhineston and one 5 mm rhinestone. I'll post pictures of those once I start doing them. And were going to start making some more purchases of wedding stuff later this week. And start putting together the welcome bags.

But I have to say... we are now 14 days till the deadline of our respose cards... and I have only received a few of them... I dont get it. People that already have booked hotels at Disney havent even sent them back yet. I really dont wanna have to make phone calls because people cant seem to get them in on time... REALLY PEOPLE???!!!???!!!

Okay, enough of my ranting and raving... sorry about that.

Dealing with pets and the wedding/honeymoon is tough. My family and I have three cats and every time I try and bring up wedding talk the first question out of my mom's mouth is who's going to take after the cats. Sigh, another to go on the to-do list! lol

I'm totally in agreement with you on the battery operated candles. I'm probably going to be on the lookout for those myself in the near future. Where did you manage to find yours, if you don't mind me asking?

I found these at Joann'a Fabrics...brand name is inglow. Not sure if you have them where you are. They are $4.99 for 2. But they do have them at walmart online for 12 for $30. Only problem with those is they are ivory and not white. We can't use the ivory ones cause our overlays for the tables are white and I'm afraid that it will be noticeable. They are like rounded and that's why I love. I'll post picture and walmart link tonight for you if you can't find.

Okay this morning I woke up and said I need to work on wedding stuff.... well Im still working on it... LONG DAY.

We ordered some more things this weekend. We ordered our gift card holder, we ordered our custom unity candles from a seller on Etsy - she is also making our memorial candle as well, I ordered a Mrs. Hart wedding dress hanger, we ordered our aisle runner, some stuff for the welcome bags, and Jeff ordered a iron on transfer for a shirt for the honeymoon. He also has 7 more shirts to order for himself. I will post pictures of the things we ordered as soon as they come in!

Today I did our welcome bag folder informative pages. I made printed packets on pretty gray and white granite colored paper on all of the following info below and put it inside gray folders, and made monogram to put on the front with a large label. They look really nice, but I ran out of paper. I bought 500 sheets and Im only making 20 welcome bags. I really wanted to just make a newsletter, but I was intimidated about making one and didnt feel it would hole enough information for me. I will post a picture after I buy more paper tomorrow and continue printing and have one completely finished. If anyone wants the pages that I made into packets, Id be more than happy to email them to you. Making these folders turned a little more expensive than I wanted to do, but I think the guests will have all their questions answered.

We are also the proud owner of 15,000 1 carat clear crystals and 200 3/4 inch clear crystals for the tables! I bought them off Ebay from a company in China that has 99.8% positive reviews for $47.00!

I also made an email newsletter to send out with Jeff's help. We still have about 3/4 of our guests that have not sent back RSVP's.... and the deadline is in 10 days... I told my mom if they cant remember to send back their RSVP to me, or let me know by email or phone if they are coming by the begining of November... Im not tracking them down... I mean come on people!!

I cant believe how close its getting! Im getting very stressed out.
