Definitely last year! A LOT of us went! This year is going to be a lot of fun too! We're going and so are my cousins and their two daughters. Also my sister and brother in law are going. It's going to be an interesting trip, that's for sure.

Quite a few great ones (my best friends got engaged on one!) but the "dream come true" was with my cousin (7) and grandma (81) for their first time this past summer.
What was originally supposed to be the "trip of a lifetime" was so magical that there is a good chance we may have a repeat next summer

Every time has it's special moments. but I think last year's mini trip: DD13 and I went to MNSSHP and had a blast. but now she is older and wants to ride the big rides, we enjoyed it alot more, plus she laughs that I am a scaredy cat and screams, lol.

I think my favorite was in 2009. I splurged that year and had a lagoon view, club level room at the Poly. The balcony looked out right over the beach and my sister and I watched the fireworks each night from our own balcony, drinks in hand and snacks nearby.

With my best friend in 2007. We just did whatever we wanted and had so much goofy fun together.
I married my husband a few months later, shortly after she broke off her engagement... once I had kids we grew apart pretty much entirely. I made a photo book and still laugh when I look at our crazy pictures. |

Our first trip as a family in 2008. It was DD's and DH's first trip. DD was just turning four and the magic of Disney was very real to her.

Mine would have to be in 2009! It was my DD first trip and everything was MAGICAL. We've been every year since then, but to see the excitement and wonder in her eyes the first trip was priceless.

My best trip was our 2nd one when my kids were almost 3 and almost 7. We spent 9 nights, 8 days in the parks, and stayed at CSR. I loved staying that long and on the flight home we gave up our seats and got 4 free airline tickets to go the following year.

Our 1st trip with the kids in 2007 was my favorite trip. The kids were 5 & 7 and everything was so magical. Even DH felt the effects of Pixie dust!
This August was also a great trip. Because we had already been twice with the kids, we took a more laid back approach. We made time for the less popular rides, did the water parks for the 1st time and tried some new restaurants. It didn't hurt that it was free because I won the trip from a sweepstakes and got to stay at the Poly!!

I feel like I should say our first trip in 2006, because all of our kids were there, the weather was great, crowds were low, we got dream fastpasses, got to ride in the front of the monorail etc etc etc.
However, my favorite trip was the Mother/Daughter trip DD and I took in 2009 for her 8th birthday. It was amazing. No lines, stayed at AKL, ate tons of different places, rode EVERY ride (we marked them off maps so we made sure we hit everything) and spent a ton of one on one time that we don't get to do otherwise because of our busy schedules with her older brothers and baby brother. It was magic from the beginning to end and we had a great time.

Last Summer (2010)
I would have to say of my 4 trips ranging from 1977 to 2010, last summer was the best. It was the first time that my kids (DD 12, DD 10, & DS 7 -- at the time) went to WDW. And there is nothing like experiencing WDW through the eyes of a child who is experiencing it for the first time. But who knows, the next time could be even more magical.

August 1974 - a transforming trip for a 17 year old who thought it was going to be a waste of a perfectly good day that could have been spent on a Florida golf course.
