XBL, PSN, Wii Online names
In one of the threads I recall seeing a few people mention their online names for the Wii to play Mario Kart online with each other.
I thought we could start a thread that lists our online names for the 3 big gaming devices. Purely voluntary, but I thought it would be nice to have a reference to add some friends. I will include my info and update this first post with a list of others to refer to. If you want to participate, please reply in this thread with your info (one or more if you have them.) ************************************************** ******* DIS name | X: XBox Live gamertag | P: PSN ID | W: Wii online name | Steam BigTex71 | X: BigTex1971 | P: Gamer76248 10dedfish | X: mattisamus WDW Obsessed | P: MaSTi07 trennr | X: trennr124 | W: ???? katoot | X: katoot Rental01 | X: Unclerenty | P: Unclerenty| W: No idea Bo Duke | P: Sir_Brazen_Bull | W: Some number I don't recall right now Prattpak. | X: prattpak | Steam: prattpak Goofy + 3 | X:WrigleyRyno FFWRX | P: FFWRX TekMickey: | P: Captcomputer | X: Captcomputer DFrench73 | X: FrenchMe73 | Steam: WackBag Turkey Lurkey | X: Turkeycreaux ChrisBrad79 | P: Chrisbrad79 BigTikiDaddy | X: Bwkee073 | W: 0872 8690 3570 8194 JHMCarty | X: JeeperCT Air Goofy | W: 2090 4276 0479 5112 Tigertown | P: Zarlon | Steam: kfsena Maroonag1 | X: Maroonag1

I guess this would be the place to ask - we have a Wii, but I have not played online before. How hard is it to set up?

Don't currently have a gold membership, however (I'll see about remedying that tonight).

I am going to try to get my Wii set up for online play this weekend. Besides Mario Kart is there anything else that can be played online for the Wii?

I have a Wii, as well, but I don't know what my friend code is. I don't normally have my systems hooked up (too many cords), and I mostly play Xbox since I moved. In the process of updating my Xbox right now, then I'm going to try to get a gold subscription again.

If it's on the Xbox, my son is usually on playing MW3 or Halo using my uid. My daughter plays quite a bit with him as well. The Playstation is primarily my gaming system and I have MW2/3, BF2/3, but most of our game time lately has been spent in Disney Universe.

Just got the PS3 so I don't have any games yet. It did come with Unchartered but haven't played it yet. DW wanted it to be a Christmas gift but it is unpackaged and hooked up to our tv. I put it in the spot that the dvd player was which was also black. I had left the controller on the floor the other day and one of my boys saw it took a quick glance and said "oh it is theirs". We have 2 ps2's. they got one for christmas to use as theirs with their own memory card because i was sick of my data getting wiped. My wife told me this morning that my older son was 'studying' the ps3 saying, "I can't tell if that is a playstation 2 or not. It looks like it but it is different." Too funny.

I have been obsessed with MW3 on the Xbox lately. I try to play at least every other night. I have prestiged once and am about halfway to 2nd prestige. Love me some SCAR-L silenced and the Striker with Impact is awesome for CQB.
I heard Skyrim is really good, but I just don't have time to play something that big and involved. Heck, I take enough flak from DW staying up late to get a few hours of MW3 in.

I can't find the right setup for a class although I am enjoying the SCAR. I was pretty good at all of the other COD games but I am absolutely getting crushed in MW3. So much that I'm thinking of retiring permanently. It seems like other people always know where I am. I don't even get in to gunfights- I just get shot from someone I can't even see. I think I need to equip Recon in the first perk slot. I'll try that next. Is the Striker a Shotty? I can't figure out which maps are good for CQB. There aren't any maps out there like the old Vacant or Shipment maps.

Yes, the Striker is a shotgun - but it doesn't become unlocked (to earn weapons XP) until a pretty high level. But there is a plain (un-upgraded) Striker as one of the early classes available. SOme of the maps I use the Striker: Dome, Arkaden, Carbon, Underground (if you hang out in the central 'hub'), and Mission (if you hang out between the buildings.) Here are a few ways I like to set up my perks: Silenced Ninja-like - Sleight of Hand Pro, Assassin Pro, Stalker Pro. This is my silenced SCAR-L loadout. Don't Care if Seen on Radar - Sleight of Hand Pro, Quickdraw Pro, Steady Aim Pro. I am trying this with ACR. Bad Boy CQB - Sleight of Hand Pro, Overkill Pro, Steady Aim Pro. Striker setup with second primary Assault Rifle class. Do you play on Xbox? If so, we should 'party up' and play some time.
