What I did was buy 4 Disney $50 cards and used 4 coupons in 1 transaction. Then the cashier gave me 4 $10 target gift cards I then used them to buy another $50 disney gift card and used another coupon. - So I paid $210 and left with 5 $50 Disney gift cards and 1 $10 target gift card

Thanks. That is what I thought but I don't think my coworker thought they would really issue $10 gift cards for purchasing $50 gift cards.

No, you cannot use it on that first card, the first one is $50. But then you use it to buy a second card, use the first $10 gift card, get a new $10 gift card so the cost of the second Disney card is $40 I repeated this process 7 more times, got 8 gift cards, one for $50 and 7 for $40 and have another $10 Target card left to use Hope that is clear

Target considers the Disney cards as Entertainment Cards, not Gift Cards. Therefore, you can use the discount coupon. I did it today.

Sorry. Maybe I wasn't asking my question right. I wanted to know if I could use the COUPON when buying the Disney gift card. I think everyone thought I was asking if I could use the $10 Target GIFT CARD to buy the first Disney card. The coupon is/was to receive a $10 gift card for every $50 purchase. So the answer is yes, in the first transaction, buy a $50 Disney card and redeem the coupon for a $10 Target gift card. Then in the second transaction, use that $10 card toward the purchase of the second Disney gift card and so on.

I REALLY like the new marathon purse! Think it will be available after the race at WDW just to purchase. We are going the week AFTER tha marathon ( leaving in 10 days!!) and I was wondering about purchasing it?

Just an update. I sent my DDB to Dooney for the handle to be fixed around 27Nov12. I received it back today (4Jan13). Looks great!

They were not available right after the race last year but you never know. Maybe, just maybe seeing the desire last year and offering them later on may make them produce more and offer in the park after the race. Nothing is out of the question

The Dooney purses for the marathon, were preorder. There will be some available at the expo, but in the past they have sold out. I'm not a fan of this race edition. I like last years green Tink edition.

They are offering the Tink in purple again at the Tinkerbell race for preorder. They are also offering the same Princess one from last year for that race for preorder. The anniversary marathon is the one that has a new design. The Tinkerbell and Princess are the same except for the tote is a different style. It has a zipper and rings that hold a shorter handle on it.
