Hi everyone
Dino and I are just fine. We were barely kissed by Sandy. Of course, our local weather forecasters were geared up for disaster. They seemed disappointed when nothing materialized .... Micki and John are being evacuated again due to the NorEaster coming in. Poor guys just can't catch a break. |

I'm very glad to hear that all is well. I hope that Kathy and Frank are also okay. Let's hope that NorEaster goes far away.
So glad to hear that Lauren and Jeri are safe in Savannah. Group hug to everyone. |

Lost power for good while, minor water and very minor damage to the house, but no real problems. Best wishes to Micki and John, hope things settle down for you soon. Please let us know if you need anything. |

It's really amazing to see this - I'm making sure I have boots when we go again
Luckily, the water receeds almost as fast as it comes in. The locals tend to take it all in stride. Here's a link to another article with a lot of pictures http://iamnotmakingthisup.net/15202/...blows-through/ Ciao

Wow. WOW! Not just regular boots, but hip waders to go on the packing list for a winter trip to Venice.
Thanks for the link, Marilee. I'll enjoy reading the rest of the blog.
