Great article, it's nice to see a reminder of how wonderful the CM's are when it seems only complaints surface at times.

I am so glad you liked it!
I think most CMs are very upbeat and helpful. Without them our trips would be less magical. They don't always get the credit they deserve.

Great articles! I love hearing positive stories about CM's they do a fantastic job making each and every persons trip the most magical one.

I just love how the cast members always take the time to make me feel as if I'm their most important guest right there and then. I'm fully aware that they do the same thing to the next person in line or at the next table, but it still brings a smile to my heart and makes me feel special.

Thanks for making me feel welcome! The first post had to come sooner or later and this seemed to be the perfect time

This thread made me go back and flip through the notes from my Disney trips. I've been a regular visitor to the parks since 2006. During that time I have only had a few less than magical experiences with CMs. All around my own lunch time, which makes me think that they were just a bit hungry. I know that my own behaviour can be a bit less "princess like" then.

Hi We are a family of Brits visiting in October. We have purchased a 14 day WDW pass which allows us unlimited access to the Magic Kingdom. Now I have just purchased 4 tickets to the Halloween Party ($230). Would I have already been able to go to this as I would be in the park anyway. If not, as the Halloween is on several evenings does that mean the usual parade and wishes is not on. Do they make the visitors without Halloween tickets leave the Park at 7 pm. when the Halloween Party starts. I am confused!! Any comments much appreciated. x

Welcome to the Dis! Sounds like you have a great trip planned.

A suggestion for you- your question is unrelated to the thread that you've posted in so in future I'd recommend starting a new thread instead. You'll get more answers that way.

For the party, everyone without a party ticket has to leave the park at 7pm. Between 4pm and 7pm you will have to go to one of the cast members stated around the park and give them your party ticket. They will give young wristband that you need to wear during the party. After 7pm anyone not wearing a wristband will not be allowed in the park and they check this in many places. On party nights the regular parade and fireworks are not shown. But on nights with no party you will be able to see the regular ones. So if you wanted to see the Halloween party, you've done the right thing.
