Where to eat after our wedding?
We are getting married at 10 am and it is just going to be us and our 3 girls ages 9-12. So we will be eating lunch. We would like somewhere really memorable and nice to eat. Keep in mind we will still be in wedding attire and I understand the parks wil not permit you in wearing wedding clothes so we will need to find somewhere within Disney but not in the parks. Thanks for your help!!!

If I can't fly, let me sing. Or, in other words if I can't be in Disney, let me talk about it !

Hi sweetie!!
Recomendations may depend on where your wedding is going to be taking place and whether you intend to have private transport or plan on using Disney transport. I would suggest the 'GF cafe' as the food is good and the surroundings are elegant and pretty. The opportunity to taks pictures around that beautiful resort is a bonus too!! I am sure that the children would enjoy 'Beaches and Cream' at the Y/B club if your wedding is more in that area.

We're using the Grand Floridian Cafe. It's normally pretty quiet at lunch time and it's really pretty. We'll be taking pictures around the resort so it'll be nice to just go right in!!

Lisa sweetie - I agree that V & A's would be perfect, but unless I am mistaken, they don't allow children (and the OP has children) and they don't serve lunch.

Maybe DW and I are weird, but we like Cap'n Jacks.
Usually not crowded, seating out by the water, might be good if you are looking for something a little more low key after the event. |

I agree the Grand Floridian Cafe is a nice spot for lunch and you can get great pictures inside and outside of the hotel. Also, with the Grand Floridian you guys could get a special cake or dessert made for you to accompany the meal. Also if your ceremony is at the Wedding Pavillion GF is just a walk over. The Wave at the Contemporary is a cool looking restaurant and they have very fresh ingredients. It may sound weird, but the Garden Grove at the Swan is a very cute place to eat. If you guys can make it before 11:15-11:30, would you consider breakfast? I just suggest that as after our Photo Sessions we met our family at Chef Mickey's and it was a cool way to get extra character pictures with us in our wedding attire. Chef Mickey's is until 11:30. 1900 Park Fare at the GF is until 11:15am. The pictures of the girls with characters would be so cute. Sorry, I'm a character picture nut. I had Mickey and Minnie at my reception and the pictures of them with my nieces are just priceless! |

Garden Grove!! I'm having my reception there. It's usually very quiet and the food is good. The atmosphere is very fun!

We are getting married at Sunset Pointe. It's at the Polynesian Resort. We are using Disney transportation that week.

If you're willing to change out of your wedding attire, perhaps into a white sundress or something then you could consider eating at Cinderella's Royal Table. The little one's will love it but it's also very beautiful.
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/din...s-royal-table/ Or if you want to stay in your dress there is Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Villas. The restaurant overlooks the savannah and you can watch the animals grazing whilst you eat, just be sure to grab a window table! http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/sanaa/
