We have August dinner ressies but I'm a bit nervous after reading the reviews. DS10 especially loved the sundae bar last time we went. Can anyone who's been there recently give me some feedback? Thanks very much!!

We were just there less than a month ago, and I felt everything, including food and dessert were exactly the same as every other year. We have gone every year since 02. It gets bad reviews, but we have never had a bad experience.

We've only been there for breakfast twice (aug 2012 and 2010).This August will be our first time there for dinner. We don't feel that the food is amazing, but it isn't horrible, and the atmosphere is fun, and my boys always have such a great time. It really is a fun place to eat.

We just ate at Chef Mickey's about two weeks ago. The food was all-American and very good. Not fancy, not gourmet - just really good food!!! No complaints from our group! And, we had a great time!

Trying to decide between Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace for dinner for our next trip. Haven't been to Chef Mickey's in over 10 years and I remember it being fun for the kids but loud. Only our oldest son has been there but I don't think he remembers it. We have been to Crystal Palace in recent years. However we are going to the Garden Grille the night before and there are similar characters and maybe even similar food.

If you have kids they will love it. We were there for dinner last fall and I remember some really really good corn chowder and the rest of the food wasn't bad by any means.

its a must do for us every trip. While the food is not as remarkable as some other places on Disney it is good and we always have a very memorable experience. Think of it from your kid's perspective and I think it makes it even more of a must do.
