I haven't bought comics since I left Diamond over 10 years ago, I get my comic geek from TV and Movies and Wikipedia. Are all the titles you listed on your pull list being published now? |

Well, I have a huge Transformer collection. Generation 1 only.
Then there is my Star Wars obsession. We actually went to SWW 5 years in a row. And we are now missing our third straight this year. I'm not happy about that.

I am not crazy about that aspect of things, but I am getting Superboy because the title is being written by Jeff Lemire, who is one of my favorite creators right now. He did the Essex County trilogy with Top Shelf, and it landed him some DC work. Sweet Tooth is a Vertigo title that he writes and draws, Superboy is being written by him. Mainly, I'm supporting Lemire. Nobody can stay dead in comics. Except Uncle Ben, I guess. Everybody else keeps coming back! Previews is always a fun part of the month. It has been getting thinner (as Diamond has shifted its minimums), but it's still fun to flip through. Why, do you think, haven't they gone to web-only and have stuck to the print model at about $6 an issue?

I fell out of line with the Superboy stories a while back... Surprised to see they're still going strong...

Hi, Let me introduce myself.
Name's Steve. Married, 2 kids. Here's my claim to Geekdom: Star Wars Fan but, more into Star Trek (even have a uniform) Comic book Fan, I tend to stick to Marvel rather than DC Avid Gamer (Team Fortress 2) and have been to many LAN Parties I won't have a personal use computer that I haven't built myself I Once built a full scale model of the Robot from Lost in Space (yes 7 feet tall) I run a computer-controlled Christmas light-show every year. Am I in?

Mostly fabricated parts by either I or members of the B9Builders Club. There's a whole community of guys who build that robot. Another group that builds R2D2.
BTW: The guy who I sold my robot to, loaned it out to a production company and it appeared on a short-lived television show called "Prototype This!"
