We will be there! I am so excited! This will be the first cruise on DCL for me and DH, and the first cruise ever for our kids (will be 20, 15, 11 for the cruise). We have been talking about booking a Thanksgiving cruise for a couple of years. When I found out about the Magic coming to Galveston, there was no way I could pass it up! There was some confusion and frustration dealing with the TA, but we got a 4E. BTW, we are from the Austin, TX area (btwn Round Rock and Cedar Park).

Hi!

We booked yesterday. We live in the North Austin area. I have done 3 DCL Cruises. Hubby has done 1. I have The Dream booked for March 2012 (Hubby and Me) and June 2012 (Adult Daughter and Me) so if all goes well I should become Gold CC with the Galveston Cruise.

Hubby and I will be making Konk Koolers tonight to celebrate! The recipe is on the CC website.

I have sailed on The Wonder twice and The Dream once. This will be first time on The Magic.

cruise with y'all! Driving down from north of Houston, so super close.

I guess it's too early to start planning my door decorations...

Won't stop me, though!
Just one and a half years, that's not too much, is it?

Does anyone know what kind of schedule we can expect on board with the holiday and the new itinerary? Special dinners or theme nights or anything?

We will be joining all of the Texans on this trip (we are from Arkansas). There will be me (34), DH (35) and DD (7).

Howdy!!

We are on this cruise!! We did 2010 Thanksgiving Disney Crusie and LOVED it!!! I just wish it was this upcoming year instead of the next year.

If you have any questions about Thanksgiving cruise let me know.

We booked 2 rooms this sailing - hubby and two children going and also hoping my mom and aunt or brother can also make this cruise along with some other people we know that may be going.

Love that we do not have to fly!! for those us living near by or in TX!!
That is a big savings in itself not having to fly!

We are planning on this cruise as well. With school and football schedules, it is the only one, (other than Christmas weeks of course) that will work for us. It will be mine and DS's (15 at time of cruise) sixth cruise with DCL...and I have finally convinced DH to cruise with us, so it will be his first. We will be making the oh so long drive from Houston (Clear Lake!), lol!

Looking forward to talking and meeting everyone over the next year and a half!

We are coming too!! Myself and DH, my son (16) at time of cruise and daughter (6) at time of cruise.

I have 8 rooms booked, hopefully all will be able to travel with us. So excitited to have a touch of the Magic at our back door or close enough, just traveling in from about 45 minutes from the port!! Thank you DCL. As it stands this will be our 3rd DCL cruise, who knows may book another, haha!!
