Bonsai
Is anyone interested in bonsai? I have been working with them now for about 25 years and I love it!

They fascinate me. I'd love to try it one day.

Bonsai is what you do to trees to train them into certain shapes and to control the size of the leaves and the tree. If you remember watching the original Karate Kid, Mr Myagi was trimming the little trees.
Deb, you should try it. It's fun!

San Francisco
Here in San Francisco we have a bonsai society and even a bonsai museum. They would host periodical bonsai exhibits. I am not originally a fan of bonsai but after attending these shows, I was amazed and found them to be exquisite.
And the community is very strong, friendly, and supportive. They encouraged me to get involved and gave me a detailed tour of the trees. I recommend you look for a local bonsai club. Noah |
