Sharon and Nick face off over their kids. Sharon is sick of the hypocrites of Genoa City and how they can catch a break but not her, she must forever pay for her mistakes repeatedly. Sharon then takes a dig at Summer inherting the hit and run gene from Phyllis!
Summer goes to see Adam and Chelsea, she is there to talk about the damages to their cars and is shocked to know she killed a baby. Summer then confronts her father for making her look like a fool, says this is all Phyllis fault. Summer tells Noah she's filing for emancipation
Adam tells Jack he is on Team Jack now but warns him not to keep the Newman kids once he takes control since they will never be on his side. Meanwhile, Victoria and Nikki are blaming themselves saying had it not been for the lawsuit, Nikki dumping Jack this wouldn't happen
Cane wants to put an end to whomever is tormenting him once and for all, he sets a trap and confronts a woman who agrees to tell him everything. Cane confronts his mother who says she is not behind this, the woman is lying but Cane doesn't believe her innocence
Sharon attempts to reach out to Noah but fails both times, Adam overhears and notices the looks Nikki and Victor gives her. Adam reaches out to Sharon, tells her Chelsea lost the baby and feeling its karma for what he did to Sharon. Sharon tries to tell him its not.

Next - Jack says Newman is his ; Phyllis still with Ronan, Avery asks why she would give Nick ammunition to divorce her ; Michael confronts Ronan for hiding evidence

Jack fires everyone which pisses off Billy who is shocked he would fire Victoria and continue this feud. Jack returns home, happy about his victory

Avery catches Phyllis with Ronan and warns her of how this is all affecting her daughter, Phyllis didn't even know Summer was out of the hospital!

Victor is shocked to learn he has no support whatsoever, all his colleagues turned against him after Sharon took over. Victor then collapses at NE

Michael confronts Ronan over hiding evidence but won't press charges against him. Meanwhile, Eden tells Paul what she remembers about Ricky

I am glad Jack finally gets to be on top for once! (even though it probably won't last) I had grown tired of him never getting the chance to reach his goals and Victor always coming out smelling like a rose.

Well victor is having a heart attack so once again it will be jacks fault and victor will recover with his loving family hanging on his every word then come out swinging and somehow get his company back

They'll figure out a way to make Jack give up his shares

Sharon hitting rock bottom will go far deeper. She'll discover shocking news relating to her health. Sharon will not be alone though...Adam will be there for her. With Adam's help, she'll try to rebuild herself and her life. However Chelsea may be none too pleased that her husband is helping his former love. Sharon realizes it's not going to be easy to free herself from her past. According to JG, "can she escape retribution for the damage she caused to the Newman

- Victoria continues to pressure Billy to spy on NE from the inside. Later, Billy agrees.

- To Jack’s surprise, ghost John tells him that he is ashamed of his recent actions.

- At the GCAC, Genevieve asks Lily and Cane what she can say to convince them that she is not behind the Claude Shirl scheme. Lily and Cane don’t believe her excuses though. A few moments later Lily brings the mystery woman down. The mystery woman tells them things that only Genevieve could have told her like the fact that she used to sing French lullabies to her children, etc…. Cane then asks his mother why she would want him to think that his sister is alive. After Cane and Lily leave the GCAC, Gen approaches the mystery lady and asks her who put her up to this. The lady tells Gen that she did, but Gen denies it and says she would have remembered doing something like that. Gen vows to find out the truth. Later when Gen leaves, the mystery lady calls someone and says that "everything is going according as planned."

- Abby expresses to Nick how upset she is that Uncle Jack messed with her siblings and dad and says that she can be very resourceful. Suddenly Nick gets a call about Victor.

- Nick, Nikki, Victoria, and Abby are at the hospital. The doctor tells them that Victor suffered from a swollen brain. Nikki tells everyone that Jack is the reason Victor is in the hospital. Later, as Nikki sits bedside by Victor, he wakes up. Kay comes to the hospital to support Nikki. After, the doctor tells Nikki that his initial diagnosis was correct: Victor’s brain swelled from his previous untreated concussions. The doctor says he prescribed anti-inflammatory medication, but Victor has to take it easy. Kay chats with Victor at his bedside.

- Adam finds out that his dad is in the hospital. Chelsea asks why he doesn't want to go. Adam says his presence would just cause tension.

- An irate Nick storms to Jack’s place. When inside, Nick grabs Jack by the collar and threatens to punch him through the wall. He lets him go though, and admits to Jack that he has good reason to hate his dad for the things he has done, but questions why he would want to go down the same path.

- An unbalanced Sharon stumbles to the main house and has hallucinations of Victor, Noah, and Nick telling her off. She calls Adam but hangs up without saying anything. Later, Adam calls Sharon back. Adam asks Sharon where she is, and she says she is at the ranch. He tells her that he will be right there. Adam lies to Chelsea, and tells her that he has to meet with a client. Sharon continues to have auditory hallucinations of everyone calling her a ‘loser,’ and starts to throw things around the house.

- Billy goes over to Jack's and tells him that he will accept his offer.

- At the hospital Victor tells everyone (Nikki, Nick, Victoria, and Abby) that he is going to make a decision that will affect all of them.

- Sharon sets the main house on fire!

Despite Phyllis' determination to save her marriage Nick decides to call it quits. According to Joshua Morrow "it has gone past the point of no return with Nick....he has been there for her every step of the way and done everything he could as a man and a husband to support hr, but she just kept crapping on him......she has constantly been blindsiding him with all these lies." Phyllis is upset with Nick's decision because she was holding out hope that they would be able to work things out. Nick breaks the news to Summer and Noah that he has filed for divorce. They support his decision.

Nick then receives a chess set from Avery with a note about practicing his game. He shows up to thank her and he finds hr locked out of her place in a bathrobe. Nick uses a paper clip to unlock the door and they flirt. Phyllis arrives just in time to see them enjoying each other's company. Neither Nick or Avery made any apologies to Phyllis. Nick tells Phyllis that Avery has been a good friend to him.

JM said that Nick and Phyllis "truly love each other but their relationship is pretty damaged right now and Avery is like a breath of fresh air to him."
