Wanna see a Dis Recipe?

Hi All!

I am going to restart my CookingDisney.com
video blog next week, and I'm taking votes as
to what recipe you want prepared! There is a
previous thread from my original 2 recipes:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2873963

And you can see the recipes for Tonga Toast
and Le Cellier's risotto right here:

www.cookingdisney.com

Please let me know if you want to see a certain
recipe prepared, and I'll cook whichever recipe
gets the most votes!!

The rub on the porterhouse steaks at Yachtsman Steakhouse.

The seasoned french fries at Yachtsman Steakhouse.

The pulled pork at WCC.

The cupcake icing at Starring Rolls Cafe.

The magic cookie bar at POR.

The Pastalaya at Rainforest Cafe DTD.

The Rasta Pasta at RFC, DTD.

The Pineapple/Macademia Pancakes at Kona.

Guess this shows what I like to eat at WDW!!!

Good luck on your new adventure! I'll keep a watch.

This is the original Strawberry Soup recipe, not the current one which includes yogurt and other stuff.

DISNEY'S GRAND FLORIDIAN BEACH RESORT

STRAWBERRY SOUP

INGREDIENTS:

16 oz Strawberries (frozen variety, thawed with juice and pureed)
16 oz Sour Cream
1 Tbls Lemon Juice (frozen variety, reconstituted, not concentrated)
2 Tbls Vanilla Extract
3 oz Sifted Powdered Sugar (by cup measure)
1 Tbls Grenadine Syrup
2 oz Half-and-Half

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

Mix strawberries and sour cream, beat slowly until well mixed. While mixing, add grenadine, lemon juice, vanilla extract and sugar until a smooth consistency. Add half-and-half and mix for five seconds. Chill, shake well before serving. Fresh strawberry halves may be added as a garnish.

I fixed the Cape May Clam Chowder today & it was very good. Recipe yields 1 gallon, I cut the ingredients in half. Dh loved it so much he wants me to fix a big batch & freeze it for him so he can have it when he wants! He also wants me to add shrimp to the next batch. Hmmmm, I don't know if chowder freezes or not - I'll try a little left over to see how it does.
