Loved your trip report! Lots of great pictures and video! I like how you took pictures of your DD from years ago and then took pictures of her in the same locations this year. What a great way to see how she has grown and changed over the years!

That is so cool that you got an upgrade at Beach Club!!! Beach Club is our favorite resort and an upgrade would be icing on the cake.

Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

The crowds when we were there were a bit heavier than we expected, probably due mostly to the promotions Disney was offering, notably free dining being extended. Also, the end of our trip coincided with the beginning of Pop Warner. We still had a blast, and as long as you have a plan to go to least crowded parks and use FPs judiciously, your waits are still minimal.

The Christmas decorations and events were awesome. The "ice" lights on the castle have to be seen to be appreciated! We loved Candlelight Processional and enjoyed MVMCP.

If you have flexibility in choosing your dates, I would consider the week immediately after Thanksgiving. Reports seem to indicate that the crowds were very low then, and all the Christmas activities are available.

The weather just can't be predicted. Even in our short visit, it varied from cool and rainy to warm and sunny. The week after we left it made it into the mid-80's! So December in Florida an be anything from 40's and wet to 80's and sunny, no matter when you go during the month.

I will try to post our last two days today. Glad you are enjoying reading!
Sue--thank you soooo much for taking the time to answer my questions and giving me your insight!! I really appreciate it!! It will be a great help to us as we plan for our trip!

And WOW--you are an updating MACHINE!!! I'm so impressed but sad that your TR is already over! I love all of your pictures and have enjoyed hearing about your time in WDW. I, too, hope that they extend the Tiana show--my girls would LOVE to see it (as would I)!!

What a wonderful trip report!!
I really enjoyed the video clips. I am going to show the kids tomorrow. It will really get their excitement going for our upcoming trip.
What great luck getting the upgrade to CL! Your BC pictures are beautiful. Perhaps we will stay there some day. But for now, the themeing at POP is right up the kids alley and it is small enough for their little legs to handle the walking around the resort.

Thanks for sharing your trip.

Tosh

What a great trip report! We were there 12/11 - 12/15, also club level at the Beach Club. That is my favorite resort of all time. We were lucky, the weather got hot (85 degrees) on the weekend so we spent a lot of time at the pool.

May I ask what kind of camera you use? My pictures did not come out nearly as well as yours. Thanks!

I just have a Kodak Z712is that I used for both still pictures and video. It's great, not too big or heavy and takes wonderful pics, especially in daylight. I think there is a newer version out now that costs a bit more, but I only paid about $180 a few years ago when I got it.

For Christmas I actually got a new Nikon D5000, but I will keep the Kodak around for the times I don't want to lug around the big stuff!
