Your thoughts on Yak and Yeti
We are considering dining at Y&Y during our upcoming trip. We have never dined there before, so please share any comments you may have. Also, if you did enjoy it, what were your favorite dishes? TIA!

We loved it!
I got the lettuce cups for appie, the shrimp and steak for entree, and wontons for dessert. Oh, and a Yak Attack. Ds had the eggrolls for appie and loved them, and dh enjoyed his mussels. I don't remember their entrees, though. Portions are huge, so if you're not on a dining plan, you could extremely easily split the appie and dessert and order different entrees to share for variety). |

Thanks for all your comments! It sounds great so far! I just looked at the menu again, and was wondering if anyone had the Duck with Anandapur Glaze, if so, how was it?

Just ate there for the second time on Thurs Dec 3. It was great, again. I just told my daughter today (we were looking at our pics) that we will probably eat there on every trip. I got the honey chicken again, which I love. There were also two s&s chickens and a kids cheeseburger at our table and we split the sorbet trio between the 4 of us. Everyone left full and very happy with their meals.

Went there last year and going again in one week.
We had the DxDP. The dumplings and prawn chips were good appies. The entrees we had were the tempura shrimp and the honey chicken. Both very good. For dessert we had the wonton - AWESOME! and the mango pie - not bad. Would definitely recommend!!!

My son and I both loved it! I asked our server for reccomendations on kid friendly apps, that I would also enjoy.... he suggested the fried green beans. My DS8 ate nearly the whole plate! I had the ribs for dinner.... yum. I dont remember what my son had, but he must have liked it, because this is one of the only restaurants he's requested for our April trip! You wont be dissapointed! Have fun!

This has become an every-trip meal for us as well.
The lettuce cups and green beans apps are excellent. The potstickers were also good. We seem to always get the honey chicken for main entrees, but we've had some other good ones also.

This is now a must do for us every trip. The Duck is great, but we usually get the shimp and skirt steak. We also LOVE the fried wonton and pineapple dessert! Worth the whole trip. Also, two of our favorite servers on property work there, Bet you will love it!

We ate there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We didn't have an ADR, but it wasn't an issue (lunch). My wife and I shared the duck and it was very good.

I just went for the first time and it is a definate repeat next year.
We were so lucky to be seated upstairs, in a corner, facing the walkway out to Dinoland.... I think - I am drawing a blank. Beautiful view and there was no one around us at all. For apps, we had the pot stickers and the pork egg rolls; all to die for - especually the plum sauce with the egg rolls. For dinner, I had the tamarind chicken, with coconut ginger rice, bok choy and ****ake mushrooms. I don't think I left but two or three bits of the entire dish left - it was fabulous. My two companions had the crispy honey chicken - loved it - and the miso salmon - also loved it. For dessert - I am surprised we had room left, but we weren't passing it up - I had the mango pie, which was a perfect size and very light... and they shared the triple sorbet and the fried wontons. All fabulous. It won't disappoint. |
