Entertainment Rate at HOJOs
I'm just wondering how this works. If for example, you are going to stay 5 nights, and only 2 of your nights are available at the Entertainment Rate, would you be able to book those two nights at the ER and then the other nights at the normal rate, or does the ER have to cover your whole stay for you to be able to use it?
Thanks

You can mix and match rates during your stay. In your example, you can book 2 nights at the Entertainment rate and the other 3 at the normal rate. But for those other 3, ask about other discounts -- DisBoards, AAA, AP holder, etc.

You most likely already know this, but just to make certain, regarding the entertainment rate, the card that comes in the book, you will need not at the time of booking but rather when checking into the hotel. If you need additional information regarding this discount, please do not hesitate to ask. Also, if you are able to secure say two nights at the discounted rate, and three at a lesser discount, just call the hotel directly to see if the entertainment rate is available. If it is, then you can have the higher rate changed to the entertainment rate. Do not bother with the 800# because that is the general reservations line, and typically know not of the entertainment rate.

We booked using the Mousesavers rate, when the Ent rate was available for one night of our stay I called and they applied it for the night. Not long before our stay two more nights were added I simply called again and the rate was updated. Like the previous poster, I agree you need to call the hotel directly.

Thanks all of you, it's great to know that I can mix the rates. At the moment I have the mousesavers rate at $109.65 for a NQQ2 room for 5 nights in July, which is pretty good I think, but will definitely be looking out for the Entertainment rates popping up.
Another question now, i'm from the UK, so wondering about the best way to get an Entertainment Card, especially with the delivery costs that might be involved. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thank you

You can buy an Entertainment Card on Ebay - I have seen them as cheap as $1. You can also go to http://www.entertainment.com/discount/home.shtml and buy the Entertainment Book for the Anaheim area so you get both the card and the discounts for the area.

Unfortunately, the books from Entertainment do not ship to the UK. They do ship as far as to Canada, and Puerto Rico, but not any further. If you know someone that lives in the States, they can order it for you. Right now, and for this week, there is a special for any book for only $19.99 plus free shipping. There are additional savings to be had as well.

What is the promo code that you type in online, to get the Entertainment Rate when booking?

I don't think you can use a code to book the entertainment rate online. Also, I'm pretty sure the boards state you can use ANY entertainment card. I have an Aussie one, I wasn't asked to show it, although I did have it with me at check=in.

It's SD50, but it sometimes doesn't work (even when you enter your dates one date at a time -- I just call in house reservations directly now.)

I forgot. Where do I check to see if my dates qualify for the entertainment book rate?
Thanks!
