Make-A-Wish is sending us to Disney in December!

I am beyond excited that my daughter will be receiving her "wish". We will be going to Disney to meet the princesses in December and staying at Give Kids the World. I would love to know from you all what the best things for her would be. She will be turning 3 a few days before our trip.

Savannah is our "Warrior Princess". She was born with a rare liver disease named Biliary Atresia and fought for her life the entire first year. Because of the most amazing GIFT anyone could ever give she is here with us today. She was given the "Gift of Life" and received a liver transplant because of our donor angel's family. She received this Gift on December 29, 2007.

When she went to receive her transplant she had Princess Belle with her..."Jaundice Doll" whom she carried with her to all of her hospital trips and doctors visits...and then after transplant she had Snow White with her as well...the princesses mean so much to me for so many reasons...


Please help me plan and make this trip super special for my Warrior Princess.

We were offered tickets to attend a local rodeo so I am heading to the Make A Wish office this morning to pick them up. I will meet our wish coordinator for the first time....I am excited. The coordinator we had prior told us nothing and then she left so I am on pins and needles to see if our new coordinator will let us know a bit of info about the trip...so excited!

I am trying to figure out how things work on this site...can anyone tell me what the little envelope next to the thread title means? Just noticed mine has a little downward arrow and wondered what that meant.

Savannah loved the rodeo but she was cheering for the horses and calves...she liked it when they ran free

When we picked up the tickets she thought she was heading a doctors appointment (the building is similar in looks to her pediatricians). She looked and me and said, "beep beep and sticker okay?" Meaning she wanted a sticker after they took her blood work...I explained that we were not at the doctors but I don't think she believed me until she walked into the doors.

Then all you heard was Savvy saying "WOOOOOOOW" and twirling. She loved the office and they were so kind to her even letting her pick a teddy bear to take home. I LOVE MAKE-A-WISH!!!! and am SOOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to her wish trip!

I believe the envelope changes color based on how "active" the thread is. And it will have an arrow once you have "replied" to it - which you have replied to this one.


I you want to "subscribe" to a thread and get a notification when someone posts to it, you can go to the top of the thread under Thread Tools and select "Subscribe to Thread" and it will notify you when someone posts to your thread!

You're very welcome I'm glad she had such a great time at the rodeo, I think Piper would have been right there with her on the animals' side. Poor thing all convinced she was going to the Dr, I bet she WAS excited when she saw it wasn't!
