Add a day to tickets
OK, Disneyland experts. My family booked a package that included three-day passes. We are considering spending a fourth day in the parks. How much would it cost to extend the tickets?
Sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere. Couldn't find a similar thread with a search. Thanks!

And, while I'm at it, I should ask: How's the weather looking for the next few days? I am checking all the national forecasts, but I'm curious what you locals are hearing. We'll be there from today until probably Monday.
I'm actually posting from the sky on my plane somewhere between JFK and SNA. Thanks, Google Chrome, for putting free Wi-Fi on all Delta flights during the holidays. I really should have planned this trip a little better.

I can answer your first question ...
You don't really "add a day" so much as upgrade your 3-day park hopper into 4-day park hopper. There should be a monetary value listed on your 3-day park hopper and they would deduct that from the price of a 4-day park hopper and you pay the difference. I think the price of a 4-day at the gates are $178/child and $201/adult. You also wouldn't have to upgrade them before you enter. If you are unsure about going for that 4th day at the beginning of your trip but on your last (3rd) day you decided to go for that extra day just upgrade before leaving on day 3. As long as the ticket is still valid it is good to upgrade. HTH

To add to what Belle Ella said: the value of your 3 day PH from a package is usually the reduced online ticket price at the time of purchase. The gate price of the 4 day is $231 for adults and $208 for ages 3-9 (the prices Belle gave are the online prices)
4 day PH at gate: $231 Minus Online 3 day PH value: -$186 Price to upgrade: $ 45 Now, if you purchased your package prior to the August price increase I don't know if you're package tickets will have the old values or the new.
