Will this work or not?
We have an 8:05pm ressie at 1900 Park Fare. We are wanting to view Wishes from the GF beach at 9pm. I know it would be cutting it close, but that's the only time I've been able to get for that evening (and the only evening that works into our schedule).
I'm continually trying to find something a little earlier (especially since we are dining with a 2 year old, and when she deems it is time to eat...it is time to EAT!!!) but in case I can't will we have time to see Wishes after dinner? |

Have you tried posting on the trade threads??? What date is your ADR and for how many? I know this is a long shot, but I'm trying to move my 5 pm on 9/28 for 4 later into the evening....... I wouldn't count on being done in time for Wishes with an 8:05. I would try showing up early, but by that time of day, they are often running behind.... It's worth a shot though if you come up dry beforehand! |

The only thing is the 1900 Park Fare is a buffet so you don't have to wait to order, get your food, etc. So it can pretty much be as quick or as leisurely as you want. As soon as you sit down, you can go right up to the buffet. So if you want to make it a short meal, you can.

You can probably do it if you eat fast, but is it really that important? Maybe you should try calling back and get an earlier time.
We were at Chef Mickey's at 7:50 and just barely made it over to the 4th floor observation deck for the 9PM fireworks on the 4th of July... |

You won't make it if you had the kind of luck we had at 1900 dinner. In May, our ADR was for 6:15 p.m. We got there at 5:45 p.m. We did not get seated until a little after 7:00 p.m. The characters were slow getting to our table, and we did not get out until around 9:00 p.m. It kind of messed up our DTD plans for after dinner. Hopefully is isn't always like that! You just never know. We had a 7:05 ADR at Chef Mickeys and showed up at 6:40 and were seated by 6:45.
