The 2009 Yacht & Beach Club FAQ Thread

Disney's Beach Club and Yacht Club FAQs thread

The Beach Club

A sandy white beach along a shimmering lake creates a feeling reminiscent of the lazy days of summer along the eastern seaboard. Relaxed yet luxurious, Disney’s Beach Club Resort shares an array of amenities with its “sister resort” Disney's Yacht Club Resort just a few feet away — a sandbottom pool, health club, full service marina and a beachfront promenade with direct access to Epcot® as well as the unique shops and restaurants at Disney’s BoardWalk entertainment district.

The Yacht Club

Classic surroundings capture the essence of a New England yacht club at this upscale resort. Its comfy chairs, hardwood floors and shafts of sunlight streaming into a welcoming lobby invite you to linger. Here you’ll enjoy luxurious accommodations as well as delightful amenities shared with Disney’s Beach Club Resort — a sandbottom pool, health club, and full service marina. There’s even a beachfront promenade with direct access to Epcot as well as the unique shops and restaurants at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort.

Private Dining

Can I order tuxedo strawberries through private dining at the YC?

Are there any other unique private dining options at the YC ~ like the chocolate monorail at the Contemporary or the chocolate picture boxes at the GF?

Thanks for your help in planning a special treat for my sons!

New daybeds...Well BWI has a neat one that is a couch that flips into a twin bed. They advertise it is adult sleepable but I am 5'9 and can lie on it but if I try to stretch you hit your head on the rolled arm. GREAT for a child or really someone 12 and under but they advertise as an adult but in reality I don't think a growing boy or an adult could sleep on there...unless they were smaller..Comfortable bed though. REally was. Was an actual BED not some cheezy pull out bed but a true mattress...
