I just did it on Friday, no problem at all. I got an email yesterday that the water shipped and will arrive 8/11....I check in on 8/16.

Hopefully, it will still be there when we arrive.

We did this a couple of years ago, best thing ever and super easy.

At check in I let them know I had it shipped. They said they would pull it from receiving and bring it to our room.

I think we were in the room all of 10 minutes and they were knocking on the door with our water.

Just be aware, it seems they are now charging $5 per delivered package at check in (seems to be conflicting info, some say all resorts are charging, some say just convention resorts so just be prepared). But even with the fee, it's still cheaper than buying all that water at Disney for their prices.

We did this in March of 2009 and had no problems. The water was waiting for us when we checked in. The Pop Century did not charge us a handling fee.

I have shipped water from costco several times and will be doing it again in september. It's super easy.. here are my few tips to ensure a successful shipment:

Order about a week before your trip.. (remember to take into account that UPS does not ship on holidays or weekends so the week before ensures it gets there for you, resorts will hold packages for up to one month so no worries if it gets there 5 days before you do)

Make sure you find the correct official address for your hotel.. usually you can find this on the Official threads of your respective hotels.

I always address mine in the following fashion
Disney's X hotel
Guest Jane Doe arrival 9/14/09
Res# 8675309
123 main street
city, zip etc..

I've shipped at least 5 times with no trouble each time.

For the value resorts.. (only one I've shipped to so the only one I can say for certain)
packages shipped to resorts are stored in an area that the check-in front desk has access to. They will NOT be in luggage services. I got confused my first visit so it took me a little while to find my packages first trip.

My husband and I will be staying at the CBR later this month and I really like the idea of doing this. However we do not have a Cosco near us. Do you have to be a member to have the water shipped? If not, do you order it through their website? Or are you buying the water at Cosco's and shipping it yourselves?

it's through costco.com you don't have to be a member but I believe it may be a few cents more per case if you are not. If I remember correctly it was like 70 cents a case difference or something like that. hope this helps!

We did this for our Spring trip and it worked out great. I ordered first thing Weds. morning for our Sunday arrival at Poly. I tracked it and t was actually on Friday. When I put in the shipping info on Costco's site, in addition to the Poly address I included "hold for {first name, last name}, guest arrival on {date} and our reservation number". Turns out on the shipping label everything after our last name got cutoff but it still got to us fine. It was delivered to our room while we were at the parks the first day.

We ship water from Costco to the resort very trip.
Only problem we have had was shipping to Csr.
First time CSR... left us a message we had a package.....took them 3 days to find it and then out of 4 cases we received only 31/4....delivered to convention center. We were charged a $5 fee.
Last year CSR the same problem ....took them 2 days to locate shipment.
Ordered water to be delivered to POR...no problem...delivered directly to our room.
When orderin from costco...go to business website and water is under snack room supplies.

We did this in November and it was there waiting for us. They would not deliver it to our room, my DH had to go get it from the front desk. This was at Pop.

They ship it from the Costco store in Orlando.
