So there I was wandering through the Venetian looking for a restroom since I still had to go. As I was looking for signs to point me in the right direction I walk straight into the path of Debbie and Theresa. So I start waving at them. I was fully expecting them to wave back. But that didn't happen. Instead they looked at me like I was some sort of side show freak. They will tell you that they were distracted by the adult slushie machines. I think they were just trying to avoid me. But finally they came to their senses and waved back. It was obvious I wasn't going anywhere. So we hugged and greeted each other. . Then we made the dash to find me a restroom....I still had to go. Lucky there was one right across from the slushie place.

Finally I got to gl. It was before 10am on a Sunday morning....you would think the restroom would be clean or at least have stuff in it. Nope, this one was sorta dirty and had no paper towels. I guess I should be thankful there was TP.

After drying my hands on my jeans, we went in search of the club desk to get Theresa her club card. She had some free money coming to her to gamble with. Can't let that go. So off we went. Talk about confusing. The signs lead us all over the casino. We ended up finding it though. It was on the other side of the poker high roller area. Like I would have ever been in that area. She got her card, and away we went.

Before we could use her card, her and Debbie had to check out. Without being invited up, I stated I was going up to check out their room. Nice room, with a great view. They had a perfect view of the Volcano. When I mentioned this, they were like "Really?" So obviously they didn't watch it from their room. Oh well. Teach them to look out their window next time. And I also peeked into their bathroom. I heard great things about them. And it didn't dissapoint. It was huge!!! But they did mention that they had a phantom toilet. It appears that in the middle of the night the toliet kept flushing over and over again. And because they were both bundled up in their beds in the dark, each one thought the other wasn't feeling well in there. It was morning before they realized it was a ghost. Spookie!

After they gathered their belongings, we headed down to the lobby so they could check out. Once that was done, we had to find a machine that gave Theresa "the feeling" so she could gamble her free money away. While looking for her machine, Beth arrived. Shortly after that, Marcie called to let us know she landed and would be taking a shuttle to meet us.

Theresa found her machine.


The feeling it gave her must have been good.



Once we were all there, we decided it was time to head out to go get our buffett on. On the way out I snapped a few pics of the girls infront of the Phantom sign since they didn't take pics the night before.





Like I said before, the Venetian is like a maze. Takes forever to get into the darn place, and forever to get out. On the way out we snapped a few pics in the elevator.







Once to the cars, it was decided that we would toss the luggage into Beth's van and I would drive us over in my Max-ma. Child safety doors and windows in there. It was great to finally have at least part of the group together. The trip was really getting off to a good start.

Next up .......is there fast pass for this buffett?

I believe we are planning on doing it again. Not for an entire week....but a nice long weekend. It would be so much fun if you are able to join us next time.

Hey....I just noticed that my trip report has been moved to the "Other California Trip Reports" board! Now why would that happen? Last I checked, Las Vegas was in Nevada. Who do I need to go PM to get it moved back to the Las Vegas board??

I noticed it had been moved. Guess just because it's a TR and they don't really have a Vegas TR section.

Ok here goes...
1. WE WERE distracted by the adult slushie machine & what they had on tap...
2. I think the Venetian Ghost stayed the night in our bathroom....the phantom toliet flushing...was so strange...
3. I didn't invite you up since you were with us, I just figured you would come with us. Really were not just going to leave on the casino floor for an hour or so.
