Auberge - photo changes....
Anyone else noticed that as of 9th Nov, you will get photos included in the price of Auberge de Cendrillon meals.... We did buy the package (can't recall cost but it was hefty) and it was lovely esp as it came in a nice folder/card mount which we've been able to frame along with the photo
The price is obviously going up though Can't recall by how much - think prebooking it's around £8 per person....Oh btw, if you use halfboard premium vouchers you won't get the photos!!!

Yikes, £8 per person up!!! We never buy the photos as I can take exactly the same pic as the photographer.

We didnt buy the photo either as it wasnt much different to what we had taken ourselves.
I dont like this idea at all as its yet another way of people having to spend yet more money. Im assuming that a lot of people dont buy the photos so its a way really of making you buy them - giving you no choice.

I think this is an awful idea and is just there to make them yet more money again. I've also worked out that this change is actually going to cost most "typical" family combinations more money for the same, even if they would have bought the photo before.
8 pounds = roughly 9 euros So, for 2 adults and a child, you'd be looking at paying 27 euros more, but you'd get your 25 euro photo pack included now, meaning it would cost you 2 euros more. Not sure how the photos worked for multiple children, but that would either be 36 euros for a 25 euro pack (loss of 11 euros) or 36 euros for 50 euros worth of photos ("gain" of 14 euros). But - all the other gains to Disney will offset this 14 euros they are "losing". as not everybody would have bought a photo meaning that some families would be paying 27 or 36 euros more now. I am of the opinion that Auberge is expensive enough as it is. The food is selected from a very restricted menu (1 starter, 3 mains, 1 pudding) if I remember rightly and this should allow Disney to buy the food in bulk and bring the price down a little. But, because it gets so busy (often with people who aren't actually that interested in the food but want a good experience with the princesses due to the fact that they can't get that positive experience elsewhere), Disney continue to charge a high premium for it as they know people will pay whatever they charge. So - this increase is (excuse the pun) just taking the mickey in my opinion.

I also think they need to look at how they take the photos.
At the moment they are taken on the way in meaning a queue builds up to get in and it can be quite chaotic in the entrance way. If the cost is going to include a seperate photo for each child in the party people will choose this rather than a joint one to make it more cost effective. Then what about the adults in the party- do they get a seperate one as well if they want? Meaning the queue to get in could be horrendous as they take photos of everyone. They would be better taking the photos on the dance floor (sat on the throne) throughout the meal which would also mean people werent cluttered up with bags/coats etc as well while trying to sort their children out to be photographed I like the food at Auberge but dont think I'll be going again on principle
