MCO to Magical Express to ...?
I will be arriving by AirTram to MCO at 6:15pm on November 29th. I am staying on property so I will be taking the Magical Express to my hotel.
Question: Can Magical Express drop you off somewhere other than your resort? Notwithstanding the above question...my family is weighing the pros and cons of how to spend the rest of our first day. Need to know knowledge maybe: we are staying at CSR and already have a pre-paid rental car at the onsite rental car company (Alamo maybe?). Option 1: Take a bus to one of the parks and stay till closing (yeah, we're hardcore like that, lol) and pick up our rental car the next morning (missing some early morning time at the park). Option 2: Send one person to go get the rental car while everyone else waits at the hotel and then go to a park till closing Option 3: Take a bus to one of the parks and come back to the hotel early enough to send someone out to get the rental car our first night. And LASTLY...how does one get from their hotel to the on-site rental car place? Do they have a concierge service/shuttle or do you have to take a taxi? Thanks much.

Answer to "Question": No. Since Magical Express is tied to your resort reservation, you must take it to your resort.
Answer to rest of questions: Option 4: Send most of party to park; send renter to pick up car. Renter can then either drive to the correct park or return to the resort and take the bus, then meet with rest of group at park. One would get to the Car Care Center via Alamo/National shuttle, needs to be arranged in advance; or by taxi. One would get to the Dolphin by taking a bus to DHS then the Friendship boat or the walking path to the Dolphin. No matter which option is ultimately selected, the specific location's rental hours should be heeded.

The Alamo/National desk at the Dolphin is only open 8a - 4pm. Car care center is only open 8a - 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
You'll probably have to pick up the car the following day if your plane doesn't land until 6:15 pm on 11/29. Haven't done the prepaid thing - maybe they make arrangments for late pick ups when you do that.
