What's the latest word on the kiddie pool? When I was there in the middle of May it was a pile of dirt and concrete. Has anyone seen any improvement over that yet?

The most recent report I've seen was from last Friday (6/12) from cab0ad, shown below. Perhaps someone has more recent knowledge.

Wow, I feel late to jumping onboard - we're already on page two! I noticed we were getting close to the limit, so thank you for making the new thread! This has been a wealth of knowledge and is making me very excited for my trip, when at first I was having my doubts.

We are headed back to POP next year and this thread keeps me going until then.

This thanks is from a "Bearcat" fan... but I have to say... DS has turned me into a huge Michigan fan over the many years. LOL.

Thank you Buckeye Gal for all of your hard work & helpful info. We just got back from POP last week and we had a wonderful time. In fact, the kids are wanting to stay at POP the next time we go back.

yes thank you for the new thread! We leave in just 9 days for our first stay at POP

and the info in the first post was amazing. (Somewhat frustrated, at work and our internet has been on the blitz for three days - no checking the DIS boards!). I do have a question, I faxed our room request into POP this a.m., but the fax number I got from the "Resorts" tab is different from the one in the first post (4040 vs 4039). Should I re-fax our request (and annoy the room assigner?) or just hope it reaches the right person?

We are staying 10/3 - 10/10 with a preferred room & I was wondering which area is somewhat quieter but still within close distance to everything? We have 3 kids- DS8, DD6 & DD19mos.(@WDW). From the research I've been doing, it looks like the lakeside views are quieter but I'm not sure they are preferred rooms & I think its too late to change to a regular room (everythings booked online). Thanks for any info.n

There are rooms in the pref category on the courtyard side of 60's bldg 5, which would be quieter, but still very close (pref areas are hi-lighted in yellow):
