A Wigdout trip report, DISmeets, Flashing Jelly Rings and Manpris, Oh MY! - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi All!
We just got back from a fun filled, 2 week trip to Disney World. This was a trip of many firsts for us, but, before I get the ball rolling let me introduce the main cast!
I'm Anita, I am in the process of moving to a new school where I will be teaching 2nd grade after teaching 4th grade for a number of years. I have a mad desire to go to Disney and it has spread to my family!

This is Marc, (wsushocker) my dear husband. He teaches at risk math K-5. He loves Disney too! Many times he says it's because I love it so much but he is the one who books our trips and is already looking for dates for next May in addition to our Christmas trip. So you figure it out.......
Also in this picture is Baylor our 10 year old, he is going to be in the 5th grade , loves Disney and sports. He plays basketball and baseball and considers himself to be a Disney expert.......

We are very lucky to be DVC members who were going home for the very first time!
We stayed our first three nights at Saratoga Springs Resort on developer points then moved to one of our home resorts, The Beach Club for the remainder of our vacation. Last summer we went a bit crazy and bought into Animal Kingdom as well!
Our dates were May 29th through June 11, this officially counts up to be 13 nights but we were there a total of 14 days, yes that's two weeks folks and the longest stay for us by far!

If you haven't given me your guess on the manpris picture contest you have a couple more days to get your number in. Marc has been given the honor of being the official manpri count counter........ I have a really cute prize, I promise I do!

My guess on the manpries is 180. I did see a few, but forgot to keep a look out for them lol. So when in may do you all plan to go. We are planning our family vacation for may and most likely will be at either AKR or SSR.

Come on MeMom don't let her disregard it.....she deserves it.....She let Shocker look over her shoulder and be first!!

I also think it would have been Magical if you would have called her at 4 a.m.

this morning......the two of you could have shared a cup of coffee while chatting over the phone......assuming that Shocker could have roused her after he answered it!!!

Wow, if it had been on a cell phone, the two of you could have taken an early morning stroll together as well........since you both seem to like that sort of thing!!

Wonder when she will give us an update and really get this baby rolling?? I think of instead of holding my breath, I may just whistle while I wait..

Ok, back to my hole and work on being quiet!!!
