Not Disney, but Tom & I have booked a RCCL cruise from January 26 to February 1, 6 nights.

We think we will get to Florida for the Marathon weekend. We want to do a week in Vero Beach and about 10 nights in Disney altogether. My hope would be to meet up before VB, since the cruise is out of Ft. Lauderdale, we will end the DVC stay then head south. Although, VB is not that far from Orlando and I could make a day trip, we've done it in the past.

I'll keep an eye on this thread!

The Dancing Cruise sounds just perfect for you & Kathy, Meriweather!

perfect for Kathy for sure. She loves dancing and takes lessons.........for about 3 years now. Me not so much. I do watch the show though, so that part will be fun

Yes, there are lots of things that suits one person more than another. I'm sure Kathy appreciates the change of plans, and will have fun dancing! I don't dance but would watch!

I just added the night of October 2nd to my Gamers Disboard Meet. I will deal with my schedule when I get it.

Just reserved our trip next January, planning on trying out two new resorts for us. So far I've stayed at three of the DVC resorts, BLT, BCV, and OKW. It's fun trying the different resorts.

For this trip I've reserved January 22nd - 28th at the VWL with plans of moving the nights of January 22nd - 25th to VB at the 7 month period.

Bobbi, you've stayed at VB several times, which room type would you recommend in hopes of getting a nice view. It'll be just my DH and myself. Thanks.

Oh Jean, definitely an OVIR if you want to see the ocean for sure! Guess what....I just booked January 21 to 26 at VB in an OVIR today! This will be for DH and myself, so we should definitely meet each other!!!!!

Meriweather, besides that, I now have Jan 13 to the 18th at Jambo house, BWV for the 18 to 21th of January. At the 7 month mark, I'll be able to book the front end of this vacation, the part around Marathon weekend!

After this VB stay we have a 6 night RCCL cruise! Then a few nights with DS and family in Lithia and we'll head back to Ohio.

How was your cruise, Nancy?

Some in my family want to do the 1/2 marathon for food & wine, so I just booked 2 nights, November 8,9.

cruise was great. The ship is a beauty........we had to skip Grand Cayman due to weather

(tendered port). It was chilly a lot of the time we weren't in port.

WDW was getting crazy busy. We did opening and got a lot done, but by lunch it was mobbed. Pretty cool there too..........and then we came home to high 80s.
