Ahh...seeing the waterfalls at the DLH makes me want to stay there again soon.

Me too! I was almost in tears when I saw the pic of the DLH! WAAAAAHHHHH! I have to stay off site this trip! Its not fair!

Howdy! The poor puppy...got attacked and killed by five large wolf dogs in my in-laws breezeway...it was my sil's puppy, Lily...

As I was getting ready to pack I saw my little kitty cat, Lil' Ma...she cleary didn't want me to leave...

Oh poor kitty! She's spoiled and likes to frolic outside during the day, and sleep on our nice, comfy, cal-king bed at night...I don't blame her for us not wanting to leave!

We also got my mom's spoiled brat ready (even though she wasn't coming, she could still dress up cute, right?) That's Harley in the Disney shirt (I know its a WDW shirt, but still Disney) and the naked dog is Tito..

We FINALLY get on the road at 5:45pm, already 45 minutes behind schedule. Then my brother had to stop to release himself, another 10 minutes. Then everyone got hungry! 30 MINUTES! UGHHH can we puh-leeze just get there...nope, need to get gas an hour later...omgoodness...My poor disney is waiting for me!

We got to our final destination...the DLH! At 1015pm! How does a 3-3 1/2 hour trip take almost 5 hours, with ZERO traffic?!

I had wanted to activate my voucher that I got from Costco for the Deluxe AP, so I could beat the lines in the morning and get my butt to my first Magic Morning ever! Oh well, guess I'll have to wake up early!

The five of us stayed in one standard room, using a 35% pin I got in my email not too long ago. We ended up paying a little over $500 for three nights...not too bad!

We were placed in the Wonder Tower, with a little view of Matterhorn Mountain! I call it a park view, don't you??

Can you see Matterhorn Mountain? NO?! Okay, I'll zoom in...

Waterfalls directly below us...so nice to open the doors and be lulled to sleep by the water...ahhh

So DLH lovers? Can you please tell me what this used to be???

We were exhausted and cranky from the trip so we passed out...

Next up the first FULL day, with a Great SUPRISE and THE CELEBRITY! Don't worry, there are tons more pics then this! You'll just have to stay tuned!

Just a question..are these pics too small?? I can make them larger for my next post?

The one you asked about used to be a water and lights show, I believe.

Oooh! Ooooh! You asked what the one mysterious thing used to be! I know! Or at least I think I do! Back in the old days of the DLH (like when I first began staying there in the '80s, all the way up to when they hacked off a whole section of it in the latter '90s to put in DTD and rearrange parking), that was a fountain that was part of a water/light show at the DLH called (I think) Dancing Waters! At a certain time every night, everyone would go and stand by the fountain and they would flash colored lights in time with music and things. Compared to what World of Color in DCA is expected to be, Dancing Waters was lame, but at least they tried to do something. Now that empty fountain area is just still sitting there, I guess.

I do remember watching this with my familia! I was little and was sooo in to it! I remember it being bigger though!
